I would have preferred non-IIc battle mechs for clan. After all, they are quite a number of iconic ones.

Grizzly, Kodiak, Bowman

While the selected mechs are "new" u somehow don't get that feeling.

It was a surprise that the list of mechs would be announced so early without some sort of public consultation.

Seems like another missed opportunity.

Kodiak is technically a spring off from a highlander through a missing link.
Anyway...

The bowman is a no-go due to arrows IV's.... and the Grizzly? bit of a tough one to add...

So yea.... The Jenner IIC and Orion IIC is quite unique. Hunchback IIC can do crazy builds the normal can't and is different all round.

Complaining these mechs are not new is the same for the mist lynx, hellbringer, summoner, and gargoyle as those 3 have derived from IS designs (sling, Warhammer, thunderbolt, charger)...

Also the thing is PGI did say they will add IIC's like a month or two ago, and a lot of people wanted those mechs seen above.

Sure... Supernova, Locust IIC, Urbanmech IIC were all popular suggestions for the IIC's, as well as the kodiak and corvis for normal battlemechs.

But the jenner IIC, Hunchback IIC (which was a popular suggestion), Orion IIC (one of the only IIC heavys) and the Highlander IIC were the best choice to go first.

We kinda all knew this was coming and made threads and twitter posts about it and PGI listened well.

Simular to the lazor thingy on the mad dog.

It's a thing called a "Sensor", it helps you find where enemy mechs are =D

Did russ say anything about the level of customization?

like, can we swap engines and upgrades on IICs?
