I don't know if this is on my side (my connection) or not but definitely not fun.

Yes, I did say ERPPC and laser nerf. I'm a little cross about that collateral damage.

They should be there if PGI continues following their plan because the two server addresses Mike Frost asks us to ping-test (pinned up there) are located in Singapore. I got 25 and 32ms out of them.

Nerfing the CERPPC on the timberwolf was some terrible collateral damage indeed. I don't even want to look at my PPC timberwolf now. Color me disgusted!

ACES also brought up a good point in same convo about how if PGI is opening servers in other places, well, business is prolly doing fine. Nobody upscales before they close shop, doesn't make sense.
Those are nice pings.
I also am digging how it will be a "check" feature where you can still play this original NA server, or go play Oceanic only during prime time for better matches, etc. Really cool.

..sad note, 6 lpl into someone's back, no damage registered. 130 ping, tho.
there is a hitreg issue.

There never ceased to be hitreg issues at low or high ping. According to Russ' twitter they have made great strides in the area over the last two weeks and official announcements are forthcoming. We shall see.

Wait, the CERPPC got nerfed on the TImber? as if the CERPPC needed nerfing....
but oh yeah, its clan, so its OP, so it needs nerfs.

That cave cluster should have cost your team the win....everyone blocking each other up so bad.
But then I saw how bad the OpFor was.
A 2x aLRM10, 2xMPL and 4x MG Krab? RLY!?!?!?!!? (sadly NOT the worst build I have seen on one) And your teammates wouldn't push on it when it was missing one side and cherry cored?
That DerpCrow at the end that couldn't kill your totally cored and shutdown Nova? (nice twisting, btw)
At least the 1000 dmg makes more sense now.... cuz both teams looked kinda ....bad.

Not with a clan mech, it's more like 675-750 damage because of the additional 2.5/5 splash damage that is only rarely useful if you know how to aim. I think I only actually killed something with the splash damage once.

Well, that King Krab was a good example of how splash damage could be a deciding factor in killing a mech. If it was a regular IS ERPPC and he hit the LT, it might not have been enough to transfer and finish off that red CT. It probably would have, but the extra raw 5 damage (dual) can really help in a situation like that. I play Dual cERPPC a lot and have had MANY situations where the splash damage has finished off a component that was hidden from me by purposefully hitting it's adjacent component. Extremely useful feature aside from the flat-out higher end game damage. Sure, obviously not all of that splash damage was useful, but any damage is good damage, both for you collecting those sweet sweet Cbills from damage+components+kills, as well as your team for weaking mechs and components that might be critical, like STs. With cERPPC you are always going to be doing damage to a torso component. Even if you hit an arm or a legs.

Lemme push something into the middle of the table for a sec, ok. So when people say "my ping is garbage" and then if I show them this video, the natural reply would correctly be "yeah well thats just one round" ok well, still, if I was hitting more accurately, would've been more like 1200-1500 dmg. So at one point does it really become an issue? I suspect about the time someone is in situations where miliseconds matter, ie tryhard zone.
