Action?
Which faction is the best one to get the most battles ? Srs i used to play CGB at launch and it was quite good, came back like 2 months later and joined CSJ and can never get a game.
Thinking going IS again, but any thoughts or is CW pop need some massive incentives for people to play again?

Probably Clan Wolf or Clan Jade Falcon.

Just watch the CW map... Clan Wolf definitely!

I'm pretty sure that CJF has the most active pugs. Clan Wolf probably has more organized units dropping and more 12-mans.

So... if you wanna get matches, obviously you should go Steiner. Both Wolf and the Falcons are going after em pretty hard.

CJF has extremely skilled pugs, I can attest to that. A lot of action is going on and we are pulling our weight. Downside: Attackers outnumber IS defenders more often than not, so join a group/unit for more fluent CW matchmaking.
CW has slightly worse players (more casuals playing CW for lore reasons) but many top-level players. Also, action is rampant in their borders. Downside is that some people stick with subpar builds or can't play well. From my experience CW has slightly more players doing less than 500dmg in CW, IS excluded. Common CW pug is still much better than common IS pug, coordination-wise.
Both are solid choices. Wand an advice? Try both. If you don't want to do that than CW is probably your safe bet.
Ignore IS. They have some serious players but in general IS is suffering from overfragmentation. Battles among IS houses are tedious at best. What is the point of having 6 IS factions when only 3 of them show anything that resembles an actual resistance? Sure, go with Steiner or FRR, you will have many matches but will loose most of them because most IS CW players are casuals. Clans have more coordinated performance and most players know how to build their Mechs.
Think of IS as a kindergarden. If you are ok with playing with kids and getting smacked in the head from time to time then by all means. If you want a grownup experience, it is Clans all the way.

Go join mercs that change factions weekly or biweekly. Experience both sides.
