Sadly, I'm pretty sure there are quite a few ppl who wouldn't accept the reseen version.

And we should care about what they accept or don't because... ? :P

I like it, but the really special thing about it is it's loadout.

Agreed. Jumpy energy boat with arm-mounted ballistic sounds delightful.
And hardpoints are mounted quite high on a relatively low-slung Mech.

I mark the Penetrator as it's sister Mech, with much the same loadout; no ballistic, no JJ, but ECM

Can I vote for no more mech packs please?

I would pay money for more maps to be reworked. Or new maps in general. I think we have more mechs than this game would have ever needed

Both Penetrator and Falconer come with JJ as stock. The PTR-6S drops armor not JJ to fit ECM and it has a 3058 release date.
The two 'Mechs have entirely different design goals. The Falconer was designed to go duel it out with Clan heavy OmniMechs, resulting in a speed, mobility, and firepower centric design. The Penetrator used the Nova as its inspiration for an energy based 'Mech and focuses on endurance and durability before all else.

The Penetrator has JJ.

At least three variants available, all laser, laser and ballistics, laser and missile...everybody can get in where they fit in...as long as it's in the Combine ;)

You can vote by stating it, if ppl "like" your post those would be votes as well.

Tbh though, mech packs are PGI's main source of income. So in a way you are paying for maps to be redone and other features.

Haha, I don't but PGI might. They rely on these packs for a large amount of their income. (Too much IMO, that's the real issue with packs.) Pgi will want to make as much as possible on these packs.

Surely mechwarrior playerbase is smart enough to realize what will they get if they [the playerbase] will go with "all or nothing" attitude?

To keep things unique they can only put 1 hero mech per chassis.

Mech bays are cheap and for 20 dollars and a sale you have enough to set you for a year if you play every day of that year.

MC consumables are not that special.

Normal mechs can be bought with C-bills so most people do not do this

Champion mechs are mainly for event insentives and for people with LOTS of money, not worth it for normal players.

Mech bundles is good for value if you want everything in it, otherwise no.

cockpit items are not that important but many can be gotten from events.

packs, provides you with the mechs you love months early and with 1 having a hero type bonus and gives you colours, cockpit items, mechs, etc for value and is the best for both PGI and you...

Do you want PGI to make people pay to play on maps or something? because the packs is the best and main way they get money without hurting the non paying player base.

Not hating on the Chi or anything... but basicly the "hero" hatamoto a 1 of a kind is the only one to have a sword...

I find it funny nearly all artwork of this thing has a sword but it's basicly just 1 out of the many that do...

Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with getting these packs. I'd just like Pgi to expand their sources of income.

PGI doesn't have much ways to expand ways to get money and income...

And swords to make stuff better... but not as much as arrows.

Let's see, needs 4 variants or enough to justify creating variants and fit timeline.
PGI seems to focus on making Mechs from TRO3050 and before.

Light
Flea - 3, 4th could be 20 ton version of FLE-14, with MASC in it can be done, all Energy, 1 has Energy & Ballistic
Hussar - 3 you could fudge time for the 4th, Energy or Ballistic

Medium
Assassin - 3, fast with jump, Energy & Missile
Clint - 4, decent speed with jump, Energy & Ballistic
Hermes II - 4, decent speed, Energy & Ballisitc
Vulcan - 4, decent speed with jump, Energy & Ballistic
Whitworth - 3, slow with jump, Energy & Missile
Wyvern - 3, slow with jump, Energy & Missile
Gonna stop there because we really do not need more 50 & 55 tonners.

Heavy
Champion - 4, Quickdraw speed, Energy & Ballistic & Missile
Ostroc - 5-6, Quickdraw speed, Energy & Missile
Ostsol - 3, Quickdraw speed, Energy
skipping 65 tons because there are enough there.
Guillotine - 3, slow, Energy & Missile, closest we may get to a Warhammer
Flashman - 2, decent speed, Energy, PGI had it on a poll

Assault
Charger - 5, slow to decent speed, Energy, a couple with Missile
Hatamoto - 5, slow, Energy, a couple Missile, one Ballistic, very Kurita
Crockett & Katana - 4, Stalker speed, Energy & Ballistic & Missile, looks like an Assault Cataphract
Cyclops - 3 or 4, slow, Energy & Ballistic & Missile

Of these, my choices would be

Flea, need competition for Locusts, MASC is doable now. 4th variant would be a 20 ton version of the FLE-14.
Clint/Vulcan, need competition at 40 tons, both have Jump, only difference is Vulcan has 2 variants with a torso Ballistic and one with MASC.
Guillotine, not an actual Warhammer but close enough, make a 4th variant with room for MGs and it will do.
Cyclops, need another 90 tonner and could not find a 95 tonner. Give one variant quirks to represent the high end battle computer.
