Light: Javelin
Medium: Bushwacker
Heavy: Guillotine
Assault: Thug

The above four mechs are battlemechs. They'd make a pretty good pack together, but what I suggest, is if the clans get their IIC battlemechs, the IS should get their Omnimechs.

Light: Owens
Medium: Men Shen
Heavy: Avatar
Assault: Hauptmann

Let's see, needs 4 variants or enough to justify creating variants and fit timeline.
PGI seems to focus on making Mechs from TRO3050 and before.

Light
Flea - 3, 4th could be 20 ton version of FLE-14, with MASC in it can be done, all Energy, 1 has Energy & Ballistic
Hussar - 3 you could fudge time for the 4th, Energy or Ballistic

Medium
Assassin - 3, fast with jump, Energy & Missile
Clint - 4, decent speed with jump, Energy & Ballistic
Hermes II - 4, decent speed, Energy & Ballisitc
Vulcan - 4, decent speed with jump, Energy & Ballistic
Whitworth - 3, slow with jump, Energy & Missile
Wyvern - 3, slow with jump, Energy & Missile
Gonna stop there because we really do not need more 50 & 55 tonners.

Heavy
Champion - 4, Quickdraw speed, Energy & Ballistic & Missile
Ostroc - 5-6, Quickdraw speed, Energy & Missile
Ostsol - 3, Quickdraw speed, Energy
skipping 65 tons because there are enough there.
Guillotine - 3, slow, Energy & Missile, closest we may get to a Warhammer
Flashman - 2, decent speed, Energy, PGI had it on a poll

Assault
Charger - 5, slow to decent speed, Energy, a couple with Missile
Hatamoto - 5, slow, Energy, a couple Missile, one Ballistic, very Kurita
Crockett & Katana - 4, Stalker speed, Energy & Ballistic & Missile, looks like an Assault Cataphract
Cyclops - 3 or 4, slow, Energy & Ballistic & Missile

Of these, my choices would be

Flea, need competition for Locusts, MASC is doable now. 4th variant would be a 20 ton version of the FLE-14.
Clint/Vulcan, need competition at 40 tons, both have Jump, only difference is Vulcan has 2 variants with a torso Ballistic and one with MASC.
Guillotine, not an actual Warhammer but close enough, make a 4th variant with room for MGs and it will do.
Cyclops, need another 90 tonner and could not find a 95 tonner. Give one variant quirks to represent the high end battle computer.

Javelin has 3 Variants, although the 10N and 10P would be identical in MWO. Maybe could vary launcher position/tubes to distinguish them.

It only has two variants in timeline and both are boring energy boats.

I've said it before. I'll give my left testicle for a penetrator..... Now I'll give the right for a Hauptmann

Sadly all those Omni's are out of timeline. 3056 for the Owen & Avatar, 3060 for the Men Shen & Hauptmann.

Because everyone is fawning over the amazingness of the Penetrator & Falconer. (Both are 75t)

That particular Grand Titan image is of the WoB Jihad Era variant, T-IT-N14R Vengence. Which fired nuclear artillery shells. Regulans love nukes.

Normal Grand Titan looks like this:

Because the Flashman is basically a Black Knight with an extra energy and AMS hardpoint and slightly shuffled hardpoint locations.

Owens came out in 3056 (6 years from now, 4 years until it's considered).
So out of timeline... another problem? this mech has single heatsinks... remember how omnimechs are hardwired? yea... this is a mech that is forced to use single heatsinks on a light mech that is mainly an energy mix missile mech...
Good luck.

Men Shen is a 3060 mech (10 years from now, 8 years until it's considered).

Avatar 3056 (6 years from now, 4 years until it's considered)

Hauptman is a 3060 mech (10 years from now, 8 years until it's considered.
However the other problem is this uses technology that came from the direwolf.. the most rare omnimech in the initial invasion... this makes it harder for PGI to push it out to 8 years from now as it was extremely lucky for the IS to even make this thing and produce it by 3060...

on top of that the prime has ECM.... high ballistic hardpoint... mid level energy hardpoints... faster then direwolf... not going to be balanced for early introduction either.

The thing is, the First Omnimech for the Inner sphere SHOULD be the raptor .
Posted Image

Came out in 3052... 2 years until it arrives. 0 years till it's considered for early release.
The first IS omnimech in existance and not only that but it is better then the owens in every way thanks to the fact this has double heatsinks...

This should be the first and only omnimech the inner sphere should get in a very very long time...

Note: some of your battlemechs are out of timeline as well... ie Bushwacker... however the bush may come in game between 1 to 3 years from now-ish

About the Annihilator, can we get Gauzilla as it's hero mech?

The gauzilla uses crit slot splitting... as well as a compact gyro... compact engine. Compact everything.

We could get it in the form of a mech with say 5 AC 5's or say 4 UAC 5 and a single AC 5 without any E hardpoints...

If we do guesstimation and say the annhilator on average will get 8 hardpoints wit hthe innitial variants being like...

(6B hardpoint (2 each arm, 1 each ST), 2E)
(6B hardpoint (1 each arm, 2 each ST), 2E)
(4B hardpoint (1 each) 4E)

The hero would be a 8B...
(8B (2 each).)

May not be the gauss overlord you wanted... but it has simular hardpoints.

actually... Raptor is in time line... well, Russ said we can take mechs from 3052... that includes the inner sphere light omnimech "Raptor"

As far as I can tell, it still looks like Javelin, Assassin/Vulcan, Falconer/Penetrator/Hammerhands with a very convoluted assault vote. Annihilator, Katana/Crockett, Thug or Hatamoto-Chi. We do have some new mechs being talked about including Omni's.

It'd be epic if a dev acknowledged this thread. We've had some good discussion about which mechs we'd want to get next.
