Q: What are the release dates for the Origins IIC Clan Collection 'Mechs?
The Origins IIC Clan 'Mechs will all be released to eligible Origins IIC pilots (according to their purchased packaged tier) on the same day:

• Orion IIC : December 15th
  
• Highlander IIC : December 15th
  
• Hunchback IIC : December 15th
  
• Jenner IIC : December 15th

Q: When will Origins IIC Clan Collection Early Adopters receive the Early Adopter rewards?
Purchases processed and received before July 31st at 11:59:59 PDT (August 1st 6:59:59 AM UTC) will be eligible for receiving the following Early Adopter Rewards*, depending on the purchased tier:

• 30 Days Banked Premium Time: August 1st

• Orion IIC (Fourth Variant): December 15th
  
• Highlander IIC (Fourth Variant): December 15th

Q: When will the Origins IIC 'Mechs be available for purchase in-game with MC or C-Bills?

• Jenner IIC (all variants): January 19th for MC and February 16th for C-Bills

No.

Q: Has a sale end date been announced?
The Origins IIC Clan Collections should be available for purchase indefinitely, but the Early Adopter Reward eligibility window is determined according to the dates listed here and on the Origins IIC Clan Collection page.

• Early Adopter Reward Deadline: July 31st at 11:59:59 PDT (August 1st 6:59:59 AM UTC)

Q: Can I upgrade from one Origins IIC Clan Collection to another?
Yes, you may upgrade an existing Origins IIC Clan Collection order to any higher-tier Collection at any point for the duration of the sale.
Please note that you will only receive the Early Adopter promotion for the Collection you are upgrading to if you upgrade your Collection before July 31st at 11:59:59 PDT (August 1st 6:59:59 AM UTC).

Q: If I upgrade from one Pack tier to another, will I be receive duplicates of the items from the Pack tier I already own?
No. Upgrading your Pack tier will only provide you specifically with the additional items featured in that newly acquired Pack; as the price is adjusted to compensate for your existing tier, duplicate content is not provided.

Q: Will the fourth Early Adopter Variants also be available for purchase in-game with MC and C-Bills?
Yes. The Early Adopter Variants will be available for purchase in-game on the same dates that the other three Variants are made available, according to the release schedule stated above.

Q: Will I qualify for any of the Early Adopter Rewards if I purchase one or two of the Origins IIC Clan 'Mechs 'a la carte'?
A la carte purchases do not qualify for any of the Early Adopter Rewards.

Q: Will I qualify for any of the Early Adopter Rewards if I purchase a la carte before the deadline, and then purchase a full Collection after the deadline?
No. You must purchase a Collection prior to the deadline in order to receive Early Adopter Rewards.

General Questions

Q: Can Origins IIC Clan Collections be gifted to others? I.E. Can I buy this for a friend?
Yes! The Origins IIC Clan Collections will be available for purchase as Gift Codes through the MechWarrior Online Gift Store.

Q: If I buy a Gift Code in time for the Early Adopter Rewards, but my recipient doesn't redeem it until after the deadline, will they still receive those Early Adopter Rewards?
They will! Early Adopter eligibility for Gift Codes is determined by the original purchase date of the Gift Code.

Q: Do I need empty Mech Bays in preparation for receiving my Origins IIC Clan Collection 'Mechs?
Each Origins IIC Clan Collection comes with all the Mech Bays required in order to house your newly acquired 'Mechs.

Q: Do I need empty Mech Bays in preparation for receiving my Origins IIC a la carte 'Mechs?
Each Origins IIC a la carte 'Mech comes with all the Mech Bays required in order to house your newly acquired 'Mechs.

Q: What is the difference between a Special Variant and a Standard Variant?
The Special [O] Variant of each Origins IIC Clan 'Mech gives you a 30% C-Bill Boost when using that 'Mech. Standard Variants do not include this C-Bill boost.
The Special [O] Variants also come with a unique Pattern, which cannot be acquired or applied to other 'Mechs.

Q: Will I be able to acquire Standard versions of the Special Variants?
Yes, these will be released for purchase in-game with MC and C-Bills according to the release dates provided earlier in this FAQ.

Q: Will the Standard versions of the Special Variants have the same C-Bill Boost and unique Pattern?
No. The Standard Variant versions of the Special [O] Variants will not have the 30% C-Bill Boost, nor will they have the unique Pattern.

Q: Can I remove the unique Pattern from Special [O] Variants to apply other Patterns?
Yes!

Q: If I remove the unique Pattern from a Special [O] Variant, can I re-apply it to that 'Mech later?
Yes, and there would be no cost in re-applying it. However, you can only apply that unique Pattern to the Special [O] Variant! You cannot apply that unique Pattern to any Standard Variants or other 'Mechs.

Q: Can I apply custom colours to the unlocked channels of the unique [O] Variant Patterns?
Yes!

Q: Can I sell my Special or Standard Variant 'Mechs?
Special Origins Variants are locked to their Mech Bay and cannot be sold in-game. These are the Variants designated with an [O].
Standard Variants may be sold normally, freeing their Mech Bay for use with another 'Mech.

Q: If I sell my Standard Variants, can I re-purchase them?
You can sell your Standard Variants at any time, but you will only be able to re-acquire them when they become available for MC and C-Bill Purchase according to the release dates above.

Q: What guarantees can be made about the balance of these Mechs?
Only that we will try to provide as fair an experience for all players, Clans and Inner Sphere alike. This may mean "nerfing" or "buffing" some weapons or adding Quirks to the 'Mechs at a later date.

Q: What are the Hardpoint details?
Hardpoints and other 'Mech details can be found towards the bottom of the Origins IIC Clan Collection page.

Collection Incentives, Monthly or Early Adopter Rewards, and Faction Content

Q: Will I be able to choose when to begin my Premium Time?
Yes. All Premium Time acquired as a result of a Collection purchase will be added to your Banked Premium Time. Any previously Banked Premium Time will be combined with the newly acquired Premium Time. A button in the client allows the one-time activation of all your Banked Premium Time. In order to activate Banked Premium Time in 30-day increments, you must do so through the 'Activate 30 Days of Premium Time' option in your website profile here.

Q: If I already have Premium Time activated on my account, will I still have the option to begin my Origins IIC Clan Collection Premium Time at my discretion?
Yes. If you're currently enjoying Active Premium Time you will still have the option of manually starting Banked Premium Time received through this Collection.

Q: Will I be able to select which Faction Content I want to receive?
Yes. Once Faction Content selections for Origins IIC go live you on December 15th will have a choice between Ghost Bear, Wolf, Jade Falcon, and Smoke Jaguar decoratives. Please note that Faction Patterns and Colors only Unlock once, so if you choose to get multiples of the same Faction Content pack you will only receive duplicates of the War Horns, Standing Items, and Hanging Items.
Any Patterns received as part of your Origins IIC Clan Faction Content selection will only be applicable to the Standard Variants. The Patterns on the Special [O] Variants are locked, and cannot be changed at this time.

Q: When will eligible Origins IIC Clan Collection owners be able to make their Faction Content selection(s)?
Origins IIC Faction Content selections will go live on December 15th.

Q: Are a la carte purchases eligible for receiving Faction Content selection(s)?
No.

Q: Which 'Mechs can apply the Faction Patterns received through the Origins IIC Faction Content selections?
Faction Patterns received through the Origins IIC Faction Content selections will only be applicable to Origins IIC 'Mechs.

Q: What does the Origins IIC Clan War Horn sound like?
We intend to have a preview of the War Horn added to our SoundCloud page at a later date.

Payment Information

Q: Which payment methods do you accept?
For direct credit card transactions we currently accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Credit cards that are not accepted for direct transactions, such as Discover card, are usually functional when processed using a standard or guest PayPal account as an intermediary. We also accept most other major payment options through our current Global Payments option.

Q: Where is the payment option I previously used?
Due to a transition of our payment services, several payment options are still being freshly contracted out to PGI. We hope to make them available again as soon as possible. Q: Will this Collection be available for purchase worldwide?
Yes, except where prohibited by law.

Origins IIC 'Mech Loadout and Customization Info

Q: Are the stock XL Engines in the Origins IIC 'Mechs Clan Engines or Inner Sphere Engines?
A: They are Clan Engines.

Q: Will the Origins IIC 'Mechs be able to switch out their Engines?
A: Yes. Origins IIC 'Mechs will be able to equip any Clan Engines that are compatible with their chassis.

Q: Are the Upgrades (Armor, Internal Structure, and Heat Sinks) the Clan versions or the Inner Sphere versions of those upgrades?
A: They are the Clan versions.

Q: Are the stock Upgrades customizable? Can we change the Armor, Internal Structure, or Heat Sink type?
A: Yes. You could switch from Ferro-Fibrous Armor to Standard Armor, for example.

Q: Will the Origins IIC 'Mechs use OmniPods?
A; No.

Q: Will the Origins IIC 'Mechs have any fixed equipment?
A: No.

Q: Will the Origins IIC 'Mechs be able to equip Inner Sphere equipment or weapons?
A: No. The Origins IIC 'Mechs will only be able to equip Clan items.
