I would like to see IS XLs get a buff though, the same kind others want to use in nerfing Clan XLs. (Lose a ST? Lose half your speed.)

Losing half your speed is ridonculous. On a clan mech, I'd say losing a third of your top speed, should be the max.
People forget that when an XL engine loses three slots it is OUT. Done for, with a possibility of going nuclear. However, here it seems like they just shrug the damage, and keep going. When in fact, their reactor is mere seconds away from dying, and possibly nuking the area. We need to convey that properly on clan mechs.
IS mechs don't get to experience that. They're more on the "fast and loose" side of things. Lose the ST, POP goes the mech XD.

I am considering purchasing some mech's from wave 2 and would hold off for a bit if I could get the new alternative colours with the pack.
