Okay now we have 2C finally coming...

now in the store page the 2C mechs are listed under Clans..

so does this mean the are the clan response to the resistance wave 2?? and if that is a yes then does this mean the IS will get something to counter them??

PS. yes i know 2C mechs are IS mech chasis with clan tech... but becuase they are listed under clans at the store page that makes them part of clan and not IS mech pack...

The Clan "response" to Resistance 2 was Clan Wave 1...

Also, I think it's because Russ feels there aren't enough Omnimechs available right now...even though I'm pretty sure that there are several more, enough for one more Omnimech pack.

so this means 2C are a clan mech pack right? if so then what are they responsing to that the IS have put out??? and will we see an IS exclusive pack as a response to them?

Just Assault and Light are limited; half dozen Meds (with multiple solid choices) and also a half dozen Heaves(most of which are garbage STD engine robots, with one excellent robot).



IS response? More quirks. Maybe that controversial balance pass will shake things up...but IIC robots are looking to bring yet another wave of powercreep.

The Jenner IIC can equal the Huggins 3x RoF with 6 SRM4s and the same ammo, or exceed it and become a blast furnace with SRM6s.



I don't even know why they decided to double the amount of hardpoints...it was solid (but not great) BEFORE the doubling.

No, it's just omni's are CHAOTIC to ballance and on top of that they use technology and weapons the IS do not have.

Get a Clan battlemech, you got a place to start balancing.
With ballanced weapons, you get an easier time ballancing clan omni's...

On top of that, the rest of the omni's are garrison... second line... out of date or extinct...
Same applies to the IIC's. So why not take the opportunity to add IIC's?

They have always been clan mechs, as many pointed out in your other thread about them. The are clan mechs built on improved IS designs. E.g. the clans took the plans with them on their exodus and then re engineered them with their own tech. They are just Clan battle mechs, not clan Omni mechs.

it looked like they are clan mechs but it also looked like engines could be changed (where it says max engine rating) i think thats new for clans.

They're going to be exactly as customizable as IS mechs, just with op clan tech.

Correct the IICs are Clan only builds.
