[Fate 6]

I've been thinking about getting a more comfortable mouse lately, since I had to bind MASC to new button and everything is now pretty crowded.

What mice do you all use for MWO?

M570 from Logitech.

I highly recommend this for anyone with RSI, stiff muscles etc. I use it. Sure your speed is perhaps not the best but it works for MWO well. Torso twisting is much harder but i like this mouse. You use your thumb to aim while the mouse do not move.

Build quality is crap. Drop it once and you can buy another one. It costs around $50 and or i less believe.

I used a Logitech G5 for over 10 years because I could not find an adequate replacement. I bought several other mice during this time frame and sold them all because none felt as good as my trusty G5 with it's large size and customizable weight. About a year ago I bought a G502 and have been using it as my gaming mouse. It has all the great features of the G5 and also solves the G5s one major drawback, which was lack of buttons.

I just got a corsair sabre. It's a lower-end gaming mouse. Highlights are on-the-fly adjustable dpi with a display light indicator so you know what setting you're on, as well as two aesthetic LED zones with full custom color mapping. As far as extra buttons goes, there are two that I've been able to map in MWO (besides right/left click), and there is a third--seemingly mappable--button that I have not been able to map in MWO. It was like $40 USD or so. IMO not too bad for features you used to have to pay $60-70 USD for.

G5 was my old mouse. That was a good mouse. They're still for sale here. Or try the MX Master. Heard some good reviews about it.

i use this old wireless logitech laser mouse that i have revived from the dead several times now. not sure what model it is, the info sticker wore off long ago. it can control 4 weapon groups though (5 is you count the wheel button). i also have a backup wireless ms mouse that works, but it doesn't have enough buttons for mechwarrior.

the logitech had its keyswitches and battery replaced, and the former needs to be replaced again because it's buttons are extremely bouncy. bouncy buttons are usually bad for every mouse application there is, except mechwarrior (uac5s dont seem to mind). thing has this attrocious 2 pcb stack and you have to desolder a 20 pin header to separate them to get at the button pads. i dont feel like doing that again so i will just use it for mechwarrior.

Used to use a RAT7. Ergonomically, the best mouse I ever had.

But they are overpriced, and I have had 3 RATs, and each died in under a year.

Currently I am using a Gigabyte m8000x Ghost. But I could use any old Logitech 3 button, and not really notice. Even with all the options, I usually only use 3 fire groups. I usually have stuff like cool shot or arty tied to the others, which are no real issue to use from the keyboard, either.

it's fully adjustable and weighted. I had my ulnar tendon shred in my right arm, so have a fair bit of pain, but that mouse felt great.
