I took the top 50 scores from every Hero mech in the recent leaderboard tournaments and ranked them in the chart below. There are three data points for each Hero mech.

1ST PLACE (blue) denotes the score achieved by the player who had the highest score for that mech.
TOP 50 AVG (red) denotes the average score among the top 50 players for that mech.
50TH PLACE (orange) denotes the score achieved by the player who had the 50th highest score for that mech (at the bottom of the leaderboard).

The mechs are sorted in ascending order based on the average scores of the top 50 players of each mech. The 1st Place scores indicate a potential ceiling for the max performance that can be wrought from the mech.

These scores must be taken with a grain of salt, of course. Player population varies for each mech, so the chart cannot be taken as an absolute measurement of the mechs' relative strengths. That said, it is a good general indicator of how one Hero mech compares to another.

Definitely not a shocker to the the St. Ives Blue is so low, if not for the 1X it is the worst of it's series, a series of mechs that is arguably the worst in the game period. However the Anasai really gave it a good/close match for the last place brown medal.

BTW, I have plans to post on the forums a lot of the top leaderboard builds soon.

But a lot of the top leaderboard are never seen in puglandia, so I can't get their builds including the hellslinger guy.


I did see him in pugs queue with a Pirate's Bane one time and Ember with 4 MPL a few times though.

Could you please sort the #1 top score plots by Group queue included and Solo queue only events? Would be interesting...

All of the recent Hero events allowed Solo and Group queues.

I used 4lpl and xl375 stripped the legs maybe a bit too much, (59) I think? But nobody really had the chance to shoot them since I would hill hump all the time.

As of now I only have 70 matches total in the hellslinger. By match 12( solo queue) I was already at 4000 so i spent most of the weekend playing the gaddamn pirates bane. On the final day I probably did 10-15 games in group queue. Not with or against my unit, just with people on ngng or comstar.

I'm kind of kicking myself for not getting the slinger. It actually looks like a decent BLR.
