Only got to dink around in test mode, but... Dragons and Spiders....

And stuff that falls down, including barriers.

Now, if PGI would only make my Commando out of the same stuff they do for those semi-trucks.

It feels __completely__ different.

First thing I did was head down to lower and knockdown all the statues while laughing manically.

I doubt I was alone.

Sad that my large laser wasn't cutting down trees. Walking into them at 80kph is hilarity though.

Sadly it's a feature that's been neglected for awhile. I was super excited when I learned they used CryEngine due to things like this...

FPS seems to be all over the place.
Ranges from high 150s to low 70's depending on where I'm looking at.

Sure it stays above 60FPS for me but I can only imagine but someone on a lower end rig.

Just played the new river city map and it was sweet. Looks great and knocking over tree's is very entertaining.

Yeah it was pretty bouncy for me too. Thankfully the lowest was 50fps (but the highest being 110).

Well... Finally decided to check it out.

It looks... ok? I guess.
Shame the Framerate drops in this map, quite a lot. In all other maps my fps is a stable 60+ (unless someone with 14 flamers decides to try to cook me, looking at you Derek), but here it's barely 40, which dips quite a lot depending on the surroundings.

Still testing, but it seems they fixed the tunnel, after all these years …

a beautiful map indeed, now to get some actual games in and see if any terrain and or buildings reach out and grab my shots.

All I can say is RIP fps, from steady 50-60 to 30 on the new map

I just tried it on my regular setup, triple monitor 5760*1080, and the FPS was keeping a decent mid 50s with drops to low 40s every now and then.
Playable but will get annoying real quick.

You can only shoot trees with ballistics and PPCs. Lasers don't seem to have any effect at all. You have to get the aim just right to destroy trees with a PPC.

They pretty much nailed it from what I can see. I cannot wait to see what they do with the other maps.

Running around it on testing grounds, fps is solid with graphics turned up. Only issues are that FXAA doesnt seem to work on the map, and there is a lot of objects/buildings flickering, i'm sure that will get fixed soon though.

The little roads in the mountain areas are AWESOME, I actually...... *tear runs down cheek*.... for the first time since MW3, feel like i'm in a mech. The little roads and details are probably the first time i've seen pgi make a real effort to do this. The roadways have these really cool entrances too that are really low.

The amount of detail has gone through the roof BTW. The little urban areas are full of polys, its really on a different level to the previous maps. There are loads of building parts above your mech now too, overpasses between buildings and things... so good!

Very good! Could use some tweaking and polishing though of course, Looking forward to more tweaks and maps.

Excellent rework. The only issue I have is the contrast on the minimap is a bit bright and difficult to read.

It makes such a big difference in realism.

Especially the sounds when running into things. Gives that realistic feedback i didn't know i needed
