I do not argue that PGI shoud incorporate MechCommander 2 into the game.
What I think is that PGI should improve the battlegrid-system and make it more intuitive. The way it works now makes it consume to much time beside that you need to do too much clicking.
In addition when you first have given an order using the battlegrid-system then that order icon which appears on the map conceals to much of the map. It's harder to see the enemy mechs appearing underneath not to mention that you do not see the terrain itself that appears underneat.
