Almost every medium mech needs to be 10-15% smaller in all axes and the Shadowhawk is certainly no exception. Right now, mediums are the same size as heavies and they need to be halfway between lights and heavies to improve their viability to be equal with the other weight classes.

Nope. Have you ever seen the artwork they are based on? Despite size of some, Mediums have speed and mobility larger Mechs do not have. Honestly, PGI only allows 5 probably based on what they can fit into the schedule and since they are looking for 5 out of all the Mechs we have, the Shadow Hawk is nowhere close to being in that top 5, just look at the current vote standings in all weight classes. Same rationale should exclude all Lights including the Kit Fox.

Come on, people...

How can honestly there be more votes for the Shadowhawk than the Trebuchet?

Please vote with your conscience, not on the contents of your mech-garage.

I think we should rescale the worst five mediums, *and* one 'mech from each of the other weight classes.

To start.

Yep. I've seen all the artwork and that matters exactly zero for gameplay purposes.

Mediums are ridiculously easy to destroy in today's game. They are far below lights in speed and mobility. They just need to be in the middle of lights and heavies size wise to be viable. There's no reason for them to be slightly smaller than heavies.

Come on the Nova is the same size as the Cicada and weighs 10 tons more.

Why stop at 5? Just either rescale all assaults & heavies to be larger or rescale all mediums to be smaller. Common sense and logic dictates that there should never be a medium as tall as an assault. Wheres the practical purpose in that?

I feel that the mediums are actually pretty well scaled for the most part but the Cent really ought to go on a diet...

While Treb and Quickdraw do need rescales, the Treb is skinny compared to the Centurion...

But honestly, on the left is MWO's Centurion. On the right is the same Centurion rescaled to match the limb and body thickness of the concept art.

Please do something with the NOVA!!!
Everything about the NOVA is Foul!!!

Its huge for its weight class, it almost has the same profile as timberwolf which by the way is 25 tons heavier than the Nova

Its hitboxes screams foul!!...the overall look of the Nova is somewhat skinny by standard where there are gaps and spaces between its arms and legs and shoulder that are deceivingly small visually but the hitboxes for each part is overly too big. I often times get grazed by ER large lasers about .5 seconds but ends up with orange damaged armor in multiple parts.... isnt that too unfair

and the arms!!! the arm are way too low... to get a decent shot on a ridge or cliff you have to expose pretty much every part of the nova. whereas compared to other mechs where they can just take a peek and pretty much still be safe from enemy fire while in a NOva you can expect to be pummeled heavily and add it with the Novas extra large hit box you can expect to be damaged heavily.

I don't get the nova to be honest. It is pretty squat. It is never going to totally match the TRO because they gave it hips and torso twist. It will always look bigger because of that.

Nova, i can understand, because it's probably the largest medium mech via surface area, even if it's squat.
What i DON'T understand, is the Shadowhawk. I mean, sure it's a pretty tall mech, but it's also quite lanky, has great hitboxes, nice high mounted weapons, jump jets and overall is a good (or at least decent) mech.
Surely, Trebuchet needs it more than it!
