Hello MechWarriors!

Welcome to the 'Mech re-scaling project part 1!

Here's how it's gonna work!

In Part 1:
Vote for the 'Mech you wish to have re-scaled the most on each weight class poll!
Vote for Medium 'Mechs re-scale here
Vote for Heavy 'Mechs re-scale here
Vote for Assault 'Mechs re-scale here

Next step in Part 2:
On July 9th, the top 3 most voted on 'Mechs from each weight class poll will be collected and added to a new Poll. In the new poll, you will be able to vote for the final top 5 between the 12 'Mechs.

Last step in Part 3:
The chosen top 5 'Mechs will have a poll of their own where you will be able to vote if the 'Mech needs to be scaled Up or scaled Down!

While I agree Kit Fox needs rescaling it does need it just as much as Adder. They should be a single option.

No because the adder is 35 tons and the kit fox is 30 tons, they shouldn't be the exact same size. Just vote for both if u want both of them smaller

HOWEVER both mechs use the exact same legs and parts for those legs and they were made to be practically the same size.

0.1 meter difference... 10 centimeters... the Adder is taller over the kitfox if like it had a birthday cake put on top.

You do forget that Clan mechs share simular structures and stuff and thus the scale SHOULD NOT be different for either mech.

Kitfox to Adder
Mist lynx to Fire moth
Viper to nova
Mad Dog to Timberwolf
Hellbringer to Summoner
Direwolf to Warhawk.
Gargoyle to Executioner.

These mechs should not have much of a size difference as 50%+ of there mech SHOULD be identical.

5 ton difference ISN'T that much in BT in terms of size and size does not IMMEDIATELY equal how heavy it is.

PGI, I beg of you to not mess up these connections in the original clan mechs, You have done it beautifully and done it well, better then previous MW games and makes fans of BT and Lore grateful.

If you resize the kitfox, please resize the adder with it.

Adder is comparatively a big, slow target, but I think I'd rather see it get hefty armor buffs to fit the look~

This,

I don't think the diffrene between the kit fox and adder is much on an issue when compared to the similarity between the warhawk and dire wolf.

I think the top 5 should go
Nova -> Grasshopper -> QuickDraw-> Awesome -> Warhawk

I think we will see dynamic missile launchers on the catapult soon (like Timberwolves) which will put it in a much better position.

Balance > Lore

It isn't ballance... in fact the Adder is WORSE then the Kitfox atm...
With that logic for "balance > lore" the adder should be smaller then the kitfox eh?

Might as well give more mechs a 360 torso turn and add fire and forget missile- oh wait... that's mech assault...

"Endo steel" is the reason that the KitFox is canonically almost the same size as the Adder in vertical height. In total surface area the Kitfox is a miniscule dwarf (compare them sideways).

Sorry dude its not practical to hold on to that chart. Look what it did to the Nova, the fact of the matter is many of the mechs that are linked by legs to a larger mech are misscaled as a result. The Kit fox, Nova, Gargoyle

blah blah TT blah

While things can be loosely based around lore/TT, this is MWO, a game, played online believe it or not, that needs balance, and underperforming mechs should be modified to lift performance, which includes reducing size/ rescaling of proportions/ hitboxes.
