The 35T Jenner is shorter than the Spider.
It is far longer and bulkier.

The Kit Fox physically is fine, it's just too talll, due to the legs being over extended.

Bend its knees till the top of the ridge is the same height as the armour panel, and it'll be spot on.

Why do people forget these things have 3 dimensions.

I wouldn't mind the knees being bent lower for all chicken walker clan mechs specifically the ebon jaguar...

The Kit fox is bigger than the 35 ton jenner and somehow the kitfox is not the outlier? that doesn't make any sense

Nope, but it's the same height and slightly larger (due to stock having endo steel and ferro fibrous, which if you do physics means the 'size' of the mech will be bigger for the same weight since it is lighter) and matches up with the spider, adder, and ravne just fine.

While the jenner drops of as short and small.

PS: not saying the jenner should be bigger... just saying the kitfox- at least to current scale is okay.

My Devil Dogs and I were talking about the Kit Fox and Adder, and came to the conclusion that it isn't the size that is their problem, but their speed! Speed them up, and their size would be fine. Unfortunately, they are slow, and to make them more viable, they have to be shrunk. No, it doesn't make sense, but that's game balance, not lore, not logic.

Spider, and Urbie need to be as tall as the Firestarter and Panther for sure.

Jenner needs to be as tall as the Raven. And the Mist Lynx should be as tall as the Commando.

I absolutely love the Kitfoxes, but find the lack of armor and speed indeed make them hard mode mechs. If any mech one on one wants to kill you, you're going to be in for a serious fight.

You're likely right about speed, but the mech is also far too large. Just compare it to other 30 tonners...

I'm hoping this resize will give it the boost that it needs to jump back into the "reasonably competitive" scene.

Based on my thoughts, I actually think that lights don't need much scaling love.

Lights overall are over armored and some can have way to much fire power. Got love the firestart with 6 spl coring a DW in seconds from the rear.

I cant believe that nobody has said anything about the jenner, which of all the mechs on the list is the EASIEST to kill.

As someone who's done a lot of meddling with the models in Blender, the Raven and Jenner stand out to me as most in need of work. The raven is significantly larger than the other units in it's tonnage class. and the Jenner's geometry/hit-boxes need serious work.

I actually feel that the Uller/Kit-Fox is in a decent place at the moment but apparently I am in the Minority. Spider, Panther, and Urbie are the "Gold Standard" IMO.

Lights definitely need the least work. The Kit fox is fractionally too big but just needs some very subtle fine tuning. The Firestarter is the only one that needs a more substantial change - it should be bigger.

The Raven's big, but as it can be fast and carry a punch it's a reasonable thing for balance - it's well balanced against the Jenner's smaller size but awful hit-boxes and the size of clan lights. It's more the Firestarter is too small than the Raven being too big imo.

Umm....i don't think the Kit Fox is the most used light mech and yet it has 1/3 of all the light mech votes.
It's more used than the Locust/Commando/Mist Lynx sure but it's popularity is about equal to the Firestarter at most.
But if it is as popular as the FS why doesn't the FS have looooads of votes too?

I favor rescaling of the appropriate mechs.
