Upgraded my rig significantly. Went from a 15 FPS to almost 90 to 100 FPS. I am now having a hard time piloting to where on the old machine I did not. Is this normal when making such a huge jump in hardware?
My Ping has stayed the same just noticing that Im abeing killed alot quicker than usual.
Normal for an upgrade till i gets used to it?

yea I had the same issue. I went from 20+/- to close to 200 and took about a week or 2 to get in the groove.

Try lowering your mouse sensitivity slightly - I had the same issue, and it helped.

Are all your settings higher than what they were before hand?
A hypothesis: Running lights tends to require a lot more "brain processing power" regarding many factors. Maybe if you are running at higher settings you are now needing to process a lot more info. Especially if there are now trees etc.
You will adapt again.
^^ Sounds strange - just can't quite put it into words to make my meaning more effective.
It is just like coming from playing an assault to a fast light. So much extra to take into account, until you get used to it.
Cheers!

Might be on my old rig everything was set to as low as I could possibly get and I would average 15 to 20 FPS on good days. With the new rig everything is set to as high as I can get and I am averaging about 100 FPS. Just did not know if it was normal for folks who upgraded to have the same issues.
Did you know that LRM's now have smoke trails behind them? Yea, I was absolutely amazed by that in my first match. Never seen that before even in closed beta. yeah Old machine.

Have you been to the BOG yet? Looks great at FULL res with all the bells on. Even the clouds of flying bugs look great.

Your brain is just not used to the smoothness. Maybe adjust mouse settings and play a while and you'll find it works much better than before.
