By the lore SRM is self-guided missile so let's make it semi-guided by TAG and increase it's velocity to 270m/s. And please make new sound for clan's SRM launch! It sounds like cimbals not rockets :)

SRMs are unguided "dumb" missiles. You're looking for Streak-SRMs, which already exist.

Incorrect.
In TT, SRMs are actually Guided. The difference between SRMs and Streak-SRMs is that Streaks will only fire if all the missiles have locked onto the target, whereas the standard SRMs will fire whether they have a lock or not. This is to conserve ammo.

We already do.
They're called Clan Streak SRMs.

Not saying it should be. I actually like the Skillshot involved with SRMs. I wish it were as doable with LRMs.

Just wanted to point out the Fallacy of SRMs being unguided. That was the MRMs and Rocket Launchers.

SRMs are GUIDED missiles, yes, I mean it. You guide them with your mouse when you shoot them, so nothing against lore here -_-

Actually...Huh...

That'd be an interesting way to make them "Guided".
Make them follow the crosshair *SLIGHTLY*

I'm still waiting for my MRMs for 40 dumb-fire missile salvos.

SRMs in lore, do, in fact, have a form of guidance! It's just not too strong, and SRMs can fire without needing a lock. What most people think of SRMs are actually the older, outmoded rocket launchers for 'Mechs. SSRMS are the 'smarter' SRMs, which require hard locks and have much stronger tracking.

I think it would be neat to have SRMs follow the crosshair a tiny bit after being fired. No big changes in firing arc, but enough to create minor adjustments and make sure the salvo lands (more or less) on target.

Then again, I think most of the missile systems in this game could use a rework.

They've been that way since the beginning.

As it is for now, SRMs are used as shotgun - you fire missiles ahead on moving target and twist torso to spread incoming dmg. If they make SRMs to follow crosshair - you will NEVER land them on target, cause they will turn away from that target -_-
