To be fair, it's normal for multiple residential buildings to be completely identical. They're erected together in a development. . Any modern rapidly growing city has that in spades.

these stupid rocks in the river
have you ever seen such a river, especially in a big city, where it's barred with some silly rocks near a bridge and isn't even cleared for navigation and stuff

I don't think there are many watercraft that can fit under that bridge that can't get around those rocks dude.

It is not Earth.

that's another problem too, a stupidly low bridge
also, note the depth difference between and after those rocks... where does the water go? it's a river after all, it should be very fast on the shallows and it behaves like a surf instead of flowing; very very silly, check this moment
p.s.
also i "like" these new armored trees. we used to have ghost trees, now we have armored ones which don't burn and can sometimes take a shot of mech weapon before falling down

You asked for comments/feedback.
I would love to see a major boost in saturation during the day, less of a yellow/brown filter and more realistic/clear/earthlike lighting and nicely saturated image. Looks a bit 'drab', like most mwo maps.

Alright let's break this down.
First of all, I don't think this small bay inside the city limits is intended for boating of really any kind, certainly it's not made for industrial cargo ships. You'll notice that all of the cargo cranes are located on the coast, not in the bay area. It's clear that the port here is intended to offload cargo which can then be transported further inland by LAND not watercraft.
Second the water most certainly should not be behaving like it's flowing from a typical river. Have you by chance seen the dam in river city? It's not a hydroelectric damn that spits water out at the bottom to generate energy. Now if you ask why that is, you might actually be raising a good question: "why is the dam just a big ol' door holding in the water?" Answer is I dunno. BUT because the dam appears to just be blocking the river, not harnessing it for energy, the water in the river should be mostly stagnant. It is a bit odd that it's behaving like surf, but it'd be much stranger if it was rushing over the shallow parts like rapids.
Lastly the trees aren't armored, I think what you are observing is Kanajashi missing a few shots when firing at the trees. They don't burn yet because they are still working on that functionality.
Sooooo in all actuality there is... quite a bit of logic to be found, I dunno what you're talkin about kitty.

it has a container terminal (a pretty well made, my first reaction was to check where the fence around the customs clearance zone was :3 (where it is??) i used to visit one such terminal pretty often, was nice to see the kalmar crane too)
it doesn't mean it doesn't use its river to ship barges and stuff further into the continent
even for a slow river the water behaves imo unrealistic
and i bet you cannot find any real pic of such huge rocks in a river in a major city especially near a bridge

The barges cannot ship further into the continent, the dam would not allow them to pass through. It's not that kind of dam, go into the training grounds and look at it.
The water behaves realistically enough imo, it's not perfect, but it's personally not immersion shattering for me.
What does finding a real live major city with rocks in it have to do anything? It's a sci-fi game, the worlds can be a little weird. Those rocks don't violate physics, so they don't bother me.

also it's a bit too close to the river mouth
well, may be they don't have major cities up the river and/or the river is too shallow for barges and these rocks used to be rapids before the dam was built or w/e
still the water behavior at least a bit weird... may be it's due to that dam, the flow is nonexistent and the sea waters go into the estuary, i dunno; and also don't forget that the port needs a fence even if it's not an international one, i saw no fence there whatsoever but i might miss it

But there isn't a boat lift, it's just not there.
Indeed it is too close, another reason why it probably isn't going to work very well to try to send ships upriver
I'd wager that those rocks may have been rapids when the river was undamed and I agree that currently it's not a good place for large barges to be.
I don't recall a fence either but this is Mechwarrior, regulations for ports could be wildly different here, it's not earth and the city planner may not be the most competent man alive based on his dam design.
