Many of the other changes are excellent, but that specific thing I am worried about.

Keep in mind, every weapon looks bad ass when boated to Direwolf levels.

c-uac 2 and c-uac 5 have the same dps but c-uac 5 run significantly cooler and dire whale can pack 5 or even 6 of them with no problems

Most of this is pretty damn amazing ... River City (new), Breakable Objects, Jump Jets Class I boost/thrust increased, Spider Leg hit meshes have been fixed, 'Mechs now display sparks and generate audio effects when colliding with geometry, Turrets have been removed from Assault Game Mode, Clan Autocannons and Clan Ultra Autocannons have had their number of projectiles per volley reduced, AWS-CDA-COM-DRG Weapon visualization passes, Host State Rewind Fixes and Improvements, optimizations ... Reduced uptream 40-45% ... downstream 20-25%, Fixed an issue where 'Mechs could sometimes be seen through walls under Thermal Vision, PPC-ERPPC-CERPPC velocity increased ... Thank you, thank you, thank you.
This is weird ...
- Dynamic Time of Day ... each quadrant condenses its 6-hour duration into the match duration ... (Testing Grounds ... run through all of the above cycles once) ... I'll hold off on passing judgment until I see it, but six hours crammed into 15 minutes seems like too much
These are interesting ...
- Thunderbolt "Top Dog" TDR-5S-T Quirks: Armor Strength (Full Body), Structure Strength (Full Body): +12.5% ... this will be more "Awesome" than an AWS ... can tank as much damage as a pre-quirked 80-tonner, goes faster, better hit boxes ... very interesting to see how this will play out.
- Autocannon/10 - Ammunition per ton increased from 15 to 20 ... I have never quite figured out why the AC/10 gets a bad rap, other than it's not an AC/20 or a U-AC/5
- Quirk Changes ... Timber Wolf, Stormcrow ... especially with the new buffs to Clan AC's, this will be very interesting.

3500 damage in public matches? Are you sure? 2K it's plausible (I use to do 1.5K), but for pulling up 3.5K... Jeez... that would need alone a lot of ammo.
