*sigh* Why, Pgi, Why, Is It So Hard To Listen? (Is It So Wrong To Want Our Guns To Look Cool, Too?)

I agree it could be even better, but it's not really bad. Compared to the hackjob that is the Catapult and the power plug arm that was on the Centurion, these new changes are lightyears ahead.

You know that the power-plug arm is still there? It's just been beefed up a bit.

This is the CN9-A right arm from the preview video. Now the CN9-A right arm has a single ballistic hardpoint that's filled by an AC/10. So what's that thing below it?

The damn system is showing hardpoints that do not even exist!

The K2's PPC barrels still leave me feeling inadequate and wanting to purchase a very large vehicle that I have no practical use for.

I had nightmares about what they'd to to the Dragon's arm.

Yeah, the new forearm base of the CN9 and DRG look pretty good IMO. Some of the weapon barrels could use a boost, but at least the flat box is gone, I think?

Yes, they do.

Them not doing what you told them to do does not mean that they didn't listen.

Hearing and listening are two different things. And again, it's not about me.

Russ did say he was looking at restoring those, sometime after this pass. And he also said just a few minutes ago, that he could look into havin gthe "improved" PPCs put on the AWS, etc. So, there is hope, perhaps.

Dang it PGI!!!! Hire someone to do some visual QA over this stuff!!! Heck, I'll do it for freaking FREE. But stop shooting yourself in the foot with these ludicrously bad, undersized and generic looking weapon passes. Please? (see, I asked nicely?)

Fire up them tweeting fingers, Bishop!

Yeah, and a beefier barrel would be nice, but the forearm itself is a darn sight better than it was. And while I prefer the old arm (obviously) I get that for simplicity, there will be some redundancy do to other variants. Blame the CN9-AL and people who put two ballistics on their CN9s, I guess, lol.

Is it sad, or ironic I don't even have twitter on my phone? I use it on my desktop, because I know Russ monitors it. I never had it before, and only got it for MWO, lol.

If it wasn't than maybe you should have titled the thread focusing on criticism of dynamic weapon appearance, and not about them not listening to you. YOU made this about you.

Bloody hell, Bishop. You have an easier time bending Russ's ear than most, yet you want to whine about them not listening? Holy s***, man, they listen to YOU more than most of us. You're unhappy with these results? Fine, say so. But you of all people have exactly zero business saying they don't listen.

Right. I'M the one they pay no heed to!

Really, where does the title say "PGI why do you never listen to ME" or "Listen to Papa Bishop"?

Again, DOZENS of people have posted threads about this, and tweeted about it. And no, they weren't listened to, apparently, either. So, actually, YOU are making this about me.

I wish the dynamics of weapon size was applied to the "mass" of said weapon. Make all the weapons the same mass! If the diameter of the barrel is too big, elongate it. Keep to the same mass, just change one aspect or another.

Example: The large diameter yet stubby barrels on the Awesome vs the long PPC "gun" on the Panther.

NOTE: I do not think this latest round is as offensive as previous rounds that is being revisited, though it's enough to warrant a revisit of it's own later down the line. Begs the question, why not do it right in the first place?

They had to have read the concerns of us forumites or at least heard about them (looking at you Tina). Why continue the pattern?

When you get frequent responses from Russ on Twitter, I have a hard time buying that, Bishop. It's nothing personal, I know you're upset, but you're blowing things out of proportion.

This, is the point. and the frustration. Still have had a dialogue with Russ, others have chimed into it (Twitter is such a chaotic place for conversation.....), so it is what it is.

In this instance, I would say you are man. Not flinging poo, but (so far) no one else is apparently seeing it the way you are.

Russ just loves the cap of 140 characters.

Imagine if i had to do a interrogation under 140 characters.

Impossibruuuuuu!
