The 3M has a ballistic. Yeah. But I slammed an erppc onto the (now higher) e-hardpoint. Pretty nice! I'm happy, cause the 3ML are in a line. Had two matches yesterday and it is an improvement :)

Of course: for a double ppc-configuration it would be nice to have the right e-hardpoint adjusted to the same height

Well, the CDA-3C certainly got a nice, unexpected perk with that ER-PPC placement. I'm not sure it'll exactly bring the mech to meta, but nice for us who do enjoy running and poking in the thing.

It's a little funny as the gun appears to be basically slammed (duct-taped?) onto the chassis roof, as if in an ad-hoc battlefield mod. It does look cool and mean though (and I bet people would love other mechs to place torso guns like this):

The 3C change is nice in theory but seems to make next to no difference in practice. In game, the PPC bolt still seems to come out from directly right of the cockpit, rather than above it.

The beam most certainly is coming from higher up.

I tested in Testing Grounds, and looks like the potential to "shoot before you see" actually isn't there, though. As soon as your reticle is above the ridgeline, the beam will also clear it, but even a few pixels down and it will not.

About 3M: I must wonder whether the strange, asymmetrical placement of the lasers was intentional? I wonder if they could put the RT energy weapon in that higher position also, as a quick fix.

Lego mech, blocky afterthoughts.

What a mess.

Pgi can't be arsed so why should we bother.

Calling MWO's abominations "lego mechs" is an insult to actual lego mechs, like this Centurion
