I think it means PGIs is now able to combine every hardpoint of every variant into a single mech. A feat which serves no purpose, except to pander to $$$ players.

I much preferred the old system were every variant was unique, and the 8R replaced the PPCs with LRMs instead of around them. This is especially noticeable on chassis with extreme hardpoint inflation, usually the ones that carried a single large weapon that was broken into 3 hard points and now looks ridiculous (centurion, dragon, etc)

I still have the 8R from the Faction sale that occurred many moons ago.

This is like the perfect time to find out about the hilarity (before those magical hitboxes go away).

I've never noticed this, but the old Awesome missile launchers looked like those old leather chairs you would see in a mansion study or library. The ones with the buttons recessed into the seat back.

Very classic look.

I must be the only one who think it looks worse then. I mean seriously have they even thought out the internals of the awesome with the racks up there. Lrm racks are big the way they were on the original is far more realistic. The lower side torso's look very awkward now and is just wasted space that could of been used to reduce the barn hitboxes.

Afterthought pgi, seriously loose faith with every patch.

The AWS-8R and AWS-8T are the only Awesomes that positively look much, much improved, in my opinion. Maybe I'll keep using those. The rest of my Awesomes will be gathering dust for some time.

Actually, the post surgery 8R now has slimmer torso thanks to perky boobs. Still, the Awesome definitely needs size re-scaling so that's why we vote here.
