PGI slowed the PPC speed to make them desync with the Gauss. But the PPC slow speed make it almost vanished from the battlefield.

My idea:
Give PPC their speed back.

But

If a PPC is fired it causes emp , which discharge the Gauss rifle, need to recharge.

Or when fired a Gauss, it drains energy from PPC capacitor. (PPC will be set in "coolddown state" or "jammed state" for 50 ms or more.)

totally agree! I loved the PCC back in the days he had the "normal" speed... right now, it's absolutely useless.. can't hit anything wich is moving and more than 400m away...

even the ERPPC are not a real option with all those fast moving mechs around.

Just on those with excessive speed quirked builds?

Lead your shots.

I use PPCs quite often and while the slower speed does make them a bit harder to use than before it's really not that bad.

Yeah, rite, C-ERPPCs are not that bad, they are AWFUL. For 400m effective range instead of weapon with enormous amount of heat and heavy skill dependant I'd rather bring pair C-ERMLs and would have better heat management and zero skill involved (not to mention 4 more DHS added). Or bring C-LPL with 600m effective range. Tell me how is it C-ERPPC is better than that, when even a DireWhale easily avoid slow projectile from beyond these ranges
Actually, LPLs are better in every way ingame right now than PPCs

So why is it I can hit a target repeatedly at 800m?
