Greetings MechWarriors,

We will be rolling out a hot-fix today (Thursday July 9th) tentatively scheduled for 3:00 PM PDT (10:00PM UTC), with the following changes:
  • Fixing an issue where the targeting reticle would sometimes not re-flash upon striking a target with a quick follow-up hit, most noticeably when the initial flash is fading out
  • Fixing performance issues for 32-bit clients resulting from the July 7th patch
  • Fixing an issue where components could still function despite appearing to be destroyed
The estimated downtime required for this hot-fix will be approximately 30 minutes.
When services are restored you will be required to apply a small patch.

UPDATE: The map selection weight for River City will be increased once services are restored. It will have a 25% chance of being selected (up from a 16% chance).

Anyways, thanks for hotfixing.

Well, considering that the Gargoyle has been camo-limited for 6+ months now, I think this is progress!

Since the end of May / start of June, I have only been able to log into one match...the rest of the time it was freezing, horrendously lagging and just saying disconnect from server" in the mech bay.
I really hope that the latest hotfix, patch, or whatever you call it actually allows me to play this game :(

While you're bored, people can update their PTS client as there's some new data there now (although, I think they are only preparing, and not a complete/finished product of what's to come).

Extra info from reddit:

Okay, so we have a hot-fix going out at 3PM PDT today to resolve performance issues that were effecting 32-bit clients.

Reports of issues under 64-bit are more perplexing, as no code changes should be causing this kind of performance drop under 64-bit and we aren't seeing these kinds of issues in-house.

Just in case, can everyone here who's running the 64-bit client double-check for me when you get a moment that the client is indeed set to use 64-bit through the gear icon in the top-right of the launcher?

Update to the original post: we are also going to be increasing the selection chance for River City from 16% to 25% once this hot-fix goes live.

Gargoyle should be getting pattern support on August 4th.

That's good to know.

However, that doesn't explain the extended delay, given that it was released in Dec 2014.

A minor issue as nobody plays this mech.

Thus, the Gargles-Prime(I) is sad.

Who cares about the Gargoyle. It's one of those mechs that very few can actually do consistently well in. I love my Panthers but I don't see too many in game honestly. Comparatively anyways.

To be honest, I never even noticed the problem with it, but like the others said, I am glad that bugs these days in the game are getting fixed a lot faster than what they used to.

What kind of behavior or errors are/were you seeing when attempting to launch?

Hmm, we're not able to replicate this issue. Can you confirm with a screenshot that you have the proper Cooldown Module installed?
