Flashman is a must for a Heavy.
Javelin is a good Light choice too.
For Medium we need the Assassin.
For Assault, Annihilator. Let the Dire Whale learn its place!
There you go PGI, for your next IS pack.

(Don't let that stop you from discussing it here though)
My choices are Light: Javelin
Medium: Assassin or Vulcan
Heavy: Falconer or Penetrator
Assault: Hatamoto-Chi or Nightstar
IMO this is the best lineup for the IS we can get.
A missile light & 40T missile med. An extremely strong heavy & assault
Trust me, you want the Falconer &/or Penetrator.

That's the Assassin; not only does it fill a needed roll, it looks badass.
It can be a hellish striker in mwo, which is a role that I love.
srm/lasers, excellent speed, jj, no chicken walker.
And it remind me good ol' times passed in mw2 merc.....

Haha, who really wants a 40t mech with balistics? The Cicada an BJ gotcha covered.
BJ is 45tons and Cicada has no JJs!
Same logic, why would you want an Assassin, when you already have a Fast, Missile/Energy Cicada X5 and the Vindicator?

The Assassin would be available for Cbills and JJs. Also, did they ever fix the tube count on the X5?

They did.
The last patch,
Besides, Assassin doesn't have enough variants. It'd need 3 more made-up ones.

Our timeline is all mechs in production after 4th succession war up to 3052
The Flashman wasn't produced for more than 200 years and is next to extinkt outside the Lyran Commonwealth.
It also has only one variant inside our timeline. So....double no go.
The Javelin only has two variants besides its basic chassis in our timeline and one of those variants is deemed secret FedCom only. So...semi no go. Besides the fed com variant has next to no difference to its standart version they only changed the dual SRM6 for quad SSRM2.
The Assassin has only one variant during our timeline that is next to indifferent to its original design. Just some jumpjets less and some armor more.
The Annihilator is a Wolfs Dragoons only mech and isn't even produced in the inner sphere. Its a clan design.
Edit:
The IMP is a Wolfs Dragoons only design too.
Vulcan would be viable.

Blah blah, who cares about any of that when PGI makes their own variants now. PGi also inflates hardpoints to differentiate identical variants, BTW.

Which is dumb, and proves how much they want to keep their moronic 3 mechs to master rule.

Because the Assassin has the speed of the CDA and the JJ of the Vindy!

I know, but what can we do? Start a petition?
I'd say yes, buuuuut we all know how little PGI actually cares.

Vulcan looks better (if not better, at least more *unique*) than the Assassin.
But, to be honest, i'd like 'em both to be added. I'd probably even buy a mech-pack if both of them were included.
I really like humanoid mechs (even though, my favorite mech is a Quad)

Most ECM (IS) mechs currently in the game, do not have ECM in TT. The only ones that do, are the Raven-3L and the Cataphract-0X(P) (which is a partly made-up variant based off the Cataphract-0X, just without the Remote sensor dispenser (which are KIND OF? like the UAVs, but not?).
All the other ECM-capable mechs (Commando-2D, Spider-5D, Cicada-3M and the Atlas-D-D-C) do not use ECM in TT.
