Why do the game models never look as beautiful as the concept art . . . its like buying a top of the line pure breed ***** off of a photo and then when it arrives you open up the box only to find it's a back ally moggy. . .

Pedigree is over-rated. Not a cat person, but I love dogs and some of my best have been the kings of mutts.

So going to your OP. Yes, the 2D artwork is fantastic. I'm equally pleased with the 3D models too though. There are differences between the two, and in most cases I do like the 2D artwork better. However, I don't dislike the 3D in turn.

Guess what I'm saying, for me, the differences are inconsequential.
