At least for the moment the ones that are in the lead are respectable choices for being in the lead. Hopefully it stays that way.

No kidding. That's the ONLY one on the list that I don't think should have made it through. It should have been the Trebuchet in its place.

Regardless, hopefully this is the beginning of PGI using a standard volumetric scale in association with tonnage, and they go back and redo all of the mechs to fit reasonably within that scale.

Actually, they stated that the next phase of voting would be whether it needs to be made bigger, or smaller, according to popular vote. Now, I'm sure if people went in and ridiculously voted that the Stalker needed to be made even smaller, then I'm hoping PGI would dismiss it.
More than likely the final phase of voting is mostly to get a feel for what people think about the mech, whilst looking at commentary for specifics (Quickdraw is too bloody tall, for example).

I also don't get how we can only vote for one when 5 will be chosen.
Einstein had a theory about human stupidity, we're just trying to make it into a scientific theory and setting it apart from a hypothesis.
But what can you expect when the boss goes, i dunno and don't care so you guys decide.
Mech that have no business there: Raven, Adder, Centurion, Shadowhawk, pult(sue me), victor(sue me again size isnt the problem), Stalker.
This just in, people don't think bigger problem than their own need fixing. It's not THEIR problem after all.

For everyone else : I urge that we vote for the chassis which needs the most help first, and ensure they stay in the Top 5. Kit Fox is in a relatively dangerous position at the moment (A 8-way tie for 5th place is fine though. lol)

It's the mech that inspired jokes like:
'The Awesome hitboxes are so big, they bend the time and space dimension so that every shot that is hardly fired into your direction, or on any of your teammates, or were fired at all, today, yesterday and forever will immidiately hit the Awesome.'
A word about that pixel comparison graph. The Awesome is one of the tiniest assaults according to that graph. That just shows me how serious I should take that graph.

I feel the same way about the Grasshopper, as I like the higher weapon mountings. Since the Shadowhawk was the de facto Medium before Clans & Quirks I'm quite stumped it made it to this poll.

Out of sight, out of mind? I find it extremely rare to see one in a match. I've never owned one, but I did vote for it.

The model change by our Koniving

While Treb and Quickdraw do need rescales, the Treb is skinny compared to the Centurion...
But honestly, on the left is MWO's Centurion. On the right is the same Centurion rescaled to match the limb and body thickness of the concept art.
I'm not saying that the modelers ****** its proportions up.
But they did.
Same with Quickdraw
