Simple question.
Does the user.cfg file exist anymore? I don't see it in my installation, which is weird.
Do I need to make it manually? If so, how?

It's just a text file, with an extension of ".cfg" sitting in the games' subdirectory. I've forgotten if blank/ empty ones exist the way game.cfg does, but that's nether here nor there: If you haven't spotted it yet, just go create it …

i think you have to make it using notepad run as admin.

if you mean your profile settings, as well as options config, its all stored in c:\users\username\saved games\mechawarrior online\
