I have never dropped against you as far as I know, So bearing that in mind I think you are a forum warrior rather than a MechWarrior, That's my opinion which means, it just who I think you are. No positive, just negative. V/R means very respectfully in case you don't get it.

As I've heard far too many times with regard to CW - "it's Community WARFARE - it's not supposed to be fun!"
Ok, sure. Then, let's all act confused when people are leaving the game mode that isn't fun... derp!
And here you are again propagating another big falsehood, that CW is nothing but "meta-cheese builds and clubbing seals". You're so close to taking over Mud's mantle, assuming you haven't already.

Congrats. Mission accomplished. Good riddance to seeing your crappy CW attitudes.

Wow. Have you even tried, well...i dunno, reasonable stuff like?......
1. Read the stickies in the CW forums
2. Try shopping for and joining an active unit that is willing to train new players. They can easily be found in the CW forums by lurking, posting, or making a thread. Also, try googling "Tukayidd unit stats" to see how some have performed in the past. (or to find the right unit to just "hang out" with, see #4)
3. Improve your dropdecks to make them more competitive as there is no matchmaker to protect you from solid players/units. Consider doing some minor research and grinding out CW viable mechs in the regular queue before attempting CW. There are dropdeck guide made by both myself, metamechs.com, and others. (see stickies in CW forums)
4. If you don't like joining units, perhaps work with them on one of the various faction hubs? Again, these are all over the CW forums. No actual joining a unit is required to do this and is a minimal time investment, just a few minutes to set up teamspeak.
5. If you insist on being lonewolf in a unit centric game mode, you either need to accept more losses or pull of amazing solo carries. Tread with caution as this mode highly favors coordinated units with drop commanders, prepared dropdecks, familiarized players, and 3rd party communications.

The way I see it, the only way for the Inner Sphere to compete is to avoid dropping into CW games as a mixed IS conglomeration. This is what I'd suggest to other Pugs out there. As a Davion Pug, I'd first go to the relevant Davion TS channel. Then try to form as part of a group with other Davions and then drop into the CW match as a strictly Davion group from there. The other IS factions should do likewise. At least you'll be on the same TS channel. Is this reasonable to other IS units? However, saying this and doing this, is the difference between chalk and cheese. I gather that the CW population is now too low and too disorganised on the IS side for this to work. Unfortunately, the only good news that I've seen lately is the mention of a Singapore server. Hopefully an end to playing with 300+ Australian pings.
As mentioned, I largely play as Pug in MWO. This is due to time constraints and having a family. Most of my Mercenary unit has drifted away from the game and maybe me shortly. The message went out for all and sundry that Pugs are not wanted in CW. With CW, what it is, am certainly happy to oblige in this. Is not my problem if CW rolls over and dies. Nor will I be asking for a trophy from the generation of the selfish and self entitled!

I always bring the best mechs i can (those who do perform well and i am most comfortable with), i even go as far as switching my mechs for different maps and gamemode.
Sometimes i hardly get a kill with 1k damage and 3 destroyed own mechs and we still won.
Sometimes i end up losing all 4 mechs with 15 kills and 2,5-3k damage and we still lost the game.
A word of advise, don't expect anything if you play with pick up groups.
Don't expect to beat anyone with underperforming builds and mechs.
Nobody is going to carrying you through the game by default.
If you want to win, do whatever you can possible do for it yourself. The other team won't let you win if you're going half assed to begin with.
You don't go to a race and complain your fiat500 has no chance of winning, do you?
Mostly this: even though you have four mechs, the margin for error is less because your enemy has four mechs, too. Have one guy rambo up? He just put your team down by four. Have one teammate that doesn't like to listen, or likes to "snipe," or brings IS LRMs? Well, you're going to be down four.
I drop PUG more times than not, too. I am in a group and do drop with those guys whenever I can, but my schedule's weird, and I don't have a lot of time to drop, much less enough time to wait twenty minutes for a game.
So when I do drop CW? It's like a treat, and yes, when I get rolled two or three games in a row? Yeah - not a great feeling.
As an IS player, the odds aren't really in your favor, either. All things being equal, the odds kind of go like this:
Clan PUG vs IS PUG: 70% Clan win
Clan PUG vs IS Prebuilt: 70% IS win
Clan Prebuilt vs IS Prebuilt: 65% Clan win
Clan Prebuilt vs IS PUG: 90% Clan win
So right there, there's a 75% chance if you're an IS Pugger, you're going to lose.
Fun games can be had, though, and beating those odds? Man, that's a good feeling.

I feel the need to point out that the FRR over the past two days seized Leoben and got another Clan world to 30% captured. We had good leadership and decent trigger pullers using TeamSpeak, but that was it really. We have went up against the crack Clan units, and gave them a proper bruising before we kept going. We lost some drops and we routed a lot of others, but we kept going.

I don't get the whole anti-meta attitude in CW which seems to be perpetuated by the same forum goers. It doesn't take very long to read about it for those that can't figure it out themselves. CW was always meant to be unit vs unit and sometimes pet preferences that don't hold water have to go, meaning you have to be somewhat adaptable and flexible. You guys are just going out of your way to be purposefully dense and stubborn. I thought a lot of that would go away when poptarting got nerfed down to size but many just hated on the next thing.
Don't know who told you Community Warfare isn't supposed to be fun but you need new advisers.

You see alot of group which are from a single Clan faction because Clans are always on the attack. And if I'm not mistaken only a single faction can attack a planet unless a planet is available to multiple faction which I believe does not happen. Defending a planet is another thing, any faction can defend a planet. If you say you always drop with a rainbow group (players from mixed factions) that would mean you are dropping to defend a planet. Try attacking on a Attack queue. You will see Clan held planets will be defended with a rainbow Clan group as well.
As for TS organization, yeah most Jade Falcon players make effort to reach out with other Jade Falcon units to try dropping ass a 12-man group as much as possible though it rarely happens. Furthermore most Jade Falcon actually does not use TS nor speak in in-game VOIP at all. So while we are in group, team chat are just enough to play organized. It's just Jade Falcon players (unit player or pug player) in general has played a lot of matches together to the point that players got familiar with each other that even if nobody types at team chat you will see there's at least some cohesion.

They use subpar mechs with subpar builds and are inable to spread damage or aim by any means. I played CW for both sides and IS pugs being so bad is the sole reason i probably will never take a IS contract again. When playing IS, i had matches with me alone dealing more damage than 7 other IS pugs together. I won't deal with that anymore, which is somewhat sad because i really enjoyed playing CW with IS mechs.
Very true, there are many many units who fight Clan side since the release of Invasion III, IS is still left with some good units, but also with many many other players, Lonewolfs, rookies and more.
I don't see a future for the actual CW design and I'm sorry for it, since it was intended as COMMUNITY Warfare to bring the players closer together. Now it crates a rift that will not heal easily.

I don't think the majority of IS players who complain here in forums here played enough CW games. 100 CW drops for me is not enough to conclude "I'm not a subpar IS player its just the Clan mechs are OP". Play some more, improve, and perform better than your previous match. In your 200th drop, if the level of competitiveness is still the same as the first time you dropped in CW, then there's nothing wrong with the game but rather it's...........

Thanks for the heads up, Dawnstealer and Jumping Gigolo. Assumed that Clanners such as Jade Falcon would probably be in the same TS room. Okay, that explains the "rainbow 12 mans" that I always seem to come across. The only time I've been in an single Inner Sphere faction 12 man, was when we went up against another Inner Sphere faction. It was a good game. Getting in on an IS attack of a Clan must be a bit of a rarity. For a Pug, are your chances of getting into an IS attack improved if you are aligned with the Rasalhague Faction. For that matter, are attacks initiated by the large groups and exclusively the domain of 12 mans. At any rate, I still think what I said about grouping up in TS prior to dropping to CW still is valid, even if its only for defence. May have to give it a try.
Can't see the the CW situation improving for sometime, especially down here in OZ, the arse end of the world. As I indicated earlier, sitting around for half an hour for a "hint" of a game is not really an option for me. Family commitments. Dropping into a "rainbow 12 man" as a Pug is definitely outski and a complete waste of time. For me, the attraction of MWO is that its an uncomplicated first person shooter. I can get in fast, play it and drop out at a moments notice. Obviously, being a Battletech fan, I had hoped for more, but it seems that the wait needs to be longer.
But no worries, I have my 60 mechs and mastered out 51 of them. That's more than enough and I'll finish at 60. There's no point grinding out more mechs, when there's no proper Battletech lore use for Pugs and their mechs as yet. Probably is a good time to cut back and return to the old flight simulators.
Oh yes, what part of the Philippines are you from Gigilo? My better half (spouse) is from Subic Zambales. Not often that I see someone from the PI on the forums.
Paalam
