Bunshee did cross my mind, but it was too much of a one trick pony. If I am gonna get 3 variants per mech, might as well have them be different.

Then BUttmaster, Warhawk can try many builds but only laser or PPC vomit works. Or maybe you can get SRMs and GRs to work for you, I cant get over the charge...

Ehem, PPCs are okay, Gauss is great, ER LLs are also pretty effective, LPLs are magical, LRMs work (for LRMs at least), SRMs work, LBX-ACs work well, UACs are good also. This whole "only PPCs or Laser Vomit works" idea is ignorance. Only thing that doesn't work out well on a Warhawk is boating medium/small lasers and small ballistics since it lacks the number of hardpoints. Get a Hawk if you like to maneuver and hit hard, get the Battlemaster if you like not being focused down while dealing damage.

How about a WHK build that has all: Gauss, PPC, lazor, SRMs and more importantly, it works!
WHK-B
Fire the Gauss and ERPPC at the same time!

Goddammit, now I am torn. Both of them will be a big C-Bill investment, Warhawk even more so.

I love this mech..
Tbh though, after quirks, the Warhawk is pretty nice.
Can do SRM builds, LRM builds, Makes a brutal Sniper and UAC-10's on it is just too much fun to pass on.

For everywhere else (except IS CW contracts)? There's Masterhawk.
