So I was thinking today...hmm...what are all the Units that have been created in MWO?

We all know the big ones and even some of the smaller ones. But how many are there? Is there a list? Do we know them all?

So this thread is for everyone in a Unit [Clan, IS, or Merc] to post thier Units name, call sign, and size so that we could create a list.

Lets see how many units are actually out there.

I believe it's all user-supplied info, so it has some inaccuracies and tends to get stale. However, it's the best I've seen.

I don't know what functions MWO's API supports, but it would seem this is the kind of data (well, unit names, tags, current faction affiliation, and member counts, at least) should be available.

From what i can tell that list is way off and only is MERC units... Never mind....just took forever to load them all.

There were over 300 that played in the Tukayyid event, The avg number of pilots was 55 or so with some beign as large as 400 and some as small as 1.


The unit numbers are way off for my unit though. We have been 100+ for sometime so yea there are some inaccuracies but it seems pretty well done.

It's definitely not perfect, and a lot of the population numbers are off, but it's still probably far and above the best resource for getting an idea of units.

If you want to update your unit info, PM Zeece as I think he's the one maintaining it (info is in the spreadsheet).
