Servus !

I live in Vienna,Austria, EU and use the ISP 3 with a 3webgate2 UMTS/LTE-modem.

At launch I had a ping of 109, 72 during early stages of the game and 67 after finishing the game on the EU server.

I changed to the US server and got the following: 209 at lauch, 158 during early stages and 169 after finishing.

I dont "feel" much difference in gameplay as I didnt get rubberbanding or other latenchy problems during both games.

I asume that on average my ping is 50% lower on the EU server compaired to the US server.

Will add more details to this post after playing more gamnes on the EU testserver later ...

PS: wasnt able to find a match for HOURS this morning, smaller group size is neccessary !

  • Austria (Vienna)
  • UPC Austria
  • 110-120
  • 25-35
  • I had some weird lag with mechs warping around several times. Hitreg was great when there was no warping though.
Only played 2 matches so far - it might've been on my end - will try again later.

25-35 zum EU server ist ja schon ganz brauchbar, Ich denke ich sollte auch von meinem 3webgate2 zu einem UPC Kabelmodem wechseln ...

Vienna (Austria)
Drei LTE Webgate (20/5)
US: 130-150
EU: 30-50

UPC Business (16/4)
US: 130-140
EU: 30-40

Yes i have 2 internet connection.
Use this with a professional DrayTek Router ... with a normal 08/15 Router the pings are 10-20 higher on both.
It feel like a another (better) game ...

Oh Speedy Pinky those are interessting ping values. Maybe I need to get a Drei LTE Webgate as well. Right now I am on a 3G Stick with Nimm3 flat as those 24month contracts did annoy me. But as I figured that I can not get cable here, the 30-50ping of LTE sounds great! As soon as I get a game on the testserver I can also post stats for my makeshift setup.

Got some games:
Vienna (Austria)
Drei 3G mobile modem stick
US: 175-225
EU: 80-130

Inhouse Cable
US: 110-200
EU: 20-60

Also got 2 internet connections as the Inhouse Cable connection is somewhat unreliable thanx to a crappy switch that can not handle big user numbers. (Really thinking about getting LTE now because allready the 3G was more reliable and smoth to play than inhouse cable, which had remarkable lags.)

You not only need the LTE capable modem, you also need to UPGRADE your contract to one which actually uses LTE, which will cost you at least 25€ per month from 3 ... maybe you should TEST LTE with this maybe cheaper offer from a different ISP:
http://t-mobile.at/t...CFZTItAoduCMPSQ
