In the last few months since Clans have been released there have been a lot of really ridiculous, poorly thought out "suggestions" posted. Tens of them daily as a matter of fact

My proposal:
In light of that I would like to propose this.If you wish to suggest changes to the game your post must include the following elements:

1) Your suggestion(s)
2) The reason why you are suggesting this/these changes
3) The positive and negative impacts that this/these changes would have on the game.

If your post does not have these three elements and just has 1 or 1 and 2 your post will be deleted.

Why do I suggest this?
Nearly all "suggestion" posts that come to light in General Discussion and Community Warfare are extremely biased and come from players who are venting frustrations rather than making constructive suggestions.

Also a very high percentage of these posts never look at the bigger picture of what the ramifications of their suggestions entail. If you cannot see that your suggestion to alter any aspect of game play would have some ripple effect on others then you really should not be making suggestions in the first place.

There is no such thing as a flawless quick fix, there are very few times changes will not have some negative effect on the game somewhere else directly or indirectly.

In closing:
I believe that this will stop misinformed/uninformed or biased individuals from spreading their biased, rash and irrational thoughts on the forums cluttering good posts among a miasma of venting and ranting.

I know Joseph though as much as I like tearing peoples posts apart point by point and illustrating the shortsightedness and whatnot it gets monotonous and the forums could really do without the clutter.

I appreciate that you used the format you suggested in your suggestion post, thereby denying me that particular low hanging fruit.

I like to avoid hypocrisy and am really tired of the kinds of posts that I am targeting with my current one. See basically all the "this is OP" threads on this forum lol

Imagine how much the tone of the forum would be improved--every stupid shitpost like that then turns into a flamefest/propaganda war and every page is 1/4 to 1/2 filled with them.

Exactly my aim with this, especially considering it would take nothing more than a skim over the first post and then the mods could delete or leave it!

Feature Suggestion already exists.

Why do we need another one?

A suggestion for suggestions! May I suggest you suggest your suggestion on suggestions be formatted to avoid repetition at the expense of suggestion!

Err... wait...

I am not suggesting a new feature suggestion tool I am suggesting a required structure so we dont have the type of posts I outlined in my post. It helps to read the OP in full.

Basically so that we dont have the "I dont like X, so nerf X" posts anymore cluttering up the forums

If only we had a separate subforum just for suggestions so people would stop posting them into GD where they don't belong,...
