I thought paper models are delicate and soft.... Thankfully this thread opened my eyes that they don't need to be that way!

At first I going to paint in Jade Falcon pattern like you already posted here.

And was smth like this

But I didn't like results, Its looked like a toy. Then I decided will paint it into more mature and serious colors. Like a modern tanks - camo.

You need that serious metallic shine and bling if you want to apply Jade Falcon's camo over it :D

If you have a Timberwolf, look in mechlab and see what Polygon pattern looks like with these colours...

Ch 1 - Camo brown

Ch 2 - Camo Light Green

Ch 3 - Khaki

Just a suggestion if you are wondering about a more 'real' paint job.

Anyway, looking fantastic, keep up the great work.

Have you considered using Interference paints? Basically a paint that supports silica particles. It creates color variation based on the angle light hits the surface. Not quite pearlescent (though those paints do exist). If you ever wanted to try your hand at the glossy Jade Falcon camo, I'd recommend an interference green paint applied on top of whatever base color you want, then given a gloss clear coat. Had some interesting results with those sorts of paints back when I used to play 40k.

I think paints of this types expensive and difficult to find it. But I think its good idea!
I used acryl paints with different levels of gloss. At finish It will be covered by matt lac.
