Ouch!

I have been experiencing rough matches for weeks now!

My damage is not consistent (Well everybody knows what i pilot! Need some willing teammates around me) but man i am very slow to adapt the new improvements on hits.

I get shredded way faster then ever before. Atleast it feels like it. But i am slowly adapting the change and getting my scores back to a normal level again. I need to be very cautious!

But sometimes you have these day you do everything wrong, ha! From positioning, not paying attention, terribad aim, bumping on rocks and squishy damage.

I call 'em bad hair days. Like your hair, if it doesn't sit good you are going to have a bad day!

What's your terribad days called?

I find MWO can be so similar to RL

Some days it works.

Other days you cant do anything right.

I'm finally crawling out of a prolonged slump - started taking the game WAY too seriously.

I took a brief hiatus for Real Life™ reasons. When I came back, I realized just how terribad I had become.

Some days are diamonds, some days are reactor overloaded, UAC Jammed, forgot to check the auto-refill button on consumables, no AMS ammo, XL engine in my Battlemaster kind of days.

I've been basically unable to play my Quickdraw this last few days (well since the HSR patch), i just get completely wrecked the moment i peek my face from around the corner.

It happens to everyone, but we tend to remember losses more than wins.

I just assume I suck and occasionally I'm pleasantly surprised.

It's usually the ebb and flow of the day and the type of queue that gets me. In the mornings I do great pugging solo. In the afternoon it's hit or miss. Then in the evenings I'll either just get completely thrashed or I'll have an absolutely low scoring game game.

If I group with my buddies at night though I do great again.

... for me, it was a Tuesday ...

For me it hasn't been the day, but the mech. I've got one that I just can't win in. And it isn't just me... every time (EVERY!) I take that mech out, my team gets rekt. Total team collapse, me included. But I can switch to another mech, same tonnage, and the teams I'm on play well, I get targets and actually hit them, and games are close or wins. Weirdness.

The mechs have similar loadouts, nearly the same speed, both have ams... I can't explain it other than voodoo curses.

My typical experience of playing MWO involves my weapons feeling like styrofoam because the damage doesn't register half the time and sometimes, when it does, my teammates end up being cardboard cutout beer-isle people trying to sell the other team product, only to have their heads shot off because they are... well, cardboard.

welcome to the Life of nova pilots with omniprsent CT's. MWO Life is hard, and you will, if you try hard enough, adapt to this and lern to peak differently and it will teahc you more situational awarenes because it helps to peak out in moments no one may look in your direction.

There are no bad days, just days that aren't as good as most.

I have just started playing MW2. I got used to it's stupid controls and inverted mouse, but oh boy I can't aim for sh!t in MWO now.It takes me like 2 seconds to get my crosshairs on a stationary target.
