Just wondering what you guys think of them.
Heh, the other night I put 3 RAC20's on a Daishi and flipped on infinite ammo and had some shenanigans on Solaris.

I'm not sure howd I like em if they weren't put on boats every single time you saw it on the field.
Ammo is a little limited.

Having that said, I would love to use a RAC2/5 in the future, those things are brutal!
An Ac5 fires a single burst of shells, an Ultra Ac5 fires two bursts, a Rotary Ac5 fires up to 6 bursts in the same time frame. Yeah, they hurt!

P.S.: What is it with all the denial here. It's been hinted at that the Clans have reengineered IS Rotaries, so cut the BS please and give the fans a bit more room to breathe. There, Mektek made a step forwards and lo' and behold: they DO exist and work perfectly. What more do you want? An official seal of approvement? These guys kept the game alive, show some respect dammit.

Actually, Yes, I do require an official seal of approval. Otherwise, I am going to go make my own mod for MW4 that has RAC/40's that launch mini-nukes, you know what, nevermind, now that I have thought those up, I guess they are real and MWO needs to add them. Cool. problem solved.

Yes actually I do want an official seal of approval. I want to play this game because it's based on the Canon universe with only MINOR changes. Course the RAC is kind of a moot point as it's 3049 and RACs come out... well lets just say eventually.

For the record, the canon Clan RACs (created by Clan Diamond Shark in 3069 and deployed in 3073, after MW4's story ends and well-into the Word of Blake's Jihad) are of the same calibers/"damage ratings" as their IS counterparts; that is, they should be CRAC-2s and CRAC-5s, not CRAC-10s and CRAC-20s.
The canon CRACs described in Tactical Operations, on page 286 (viewable here as the 288th page of the e-document).
However, I agree with the sentiment - Mektek as a whole (and Jeho in particular) deserves more gratitude and respect than they've gotten (especially of late) for keeping MW4 (and thus, essentially, MW gaming itself) alive for so long.
And back on topic: I like RACs, and prefer the RAC-2 to the RAC-5 due to the longer range and more ammo per ton (and being lighter, leaving more weight free for additional weapons/equipment/ammo/etc).

You fell right into the troll trap *clap clap*
I'm under no illusion that you are even able to grasp the magnitude of the service that has been rendered to you by Mektek or the development work necessary to make seemingly overpowered experimental TT concepts work without 'proper' guidance of canon.
And for the record: if you have a better idea how to tame such weapons, step forwards and prove your concept. Mektek did and it works.
It's one thing to criticize, but another thing to do it constructively. Now, where is your solution if I may ask? Ignorance hardly counts now, doesn't it?

Inner Sphere RACs are put into service in 3062 by the Federated Suns. Clan RACs are introduced by the Diamond Sharks in 3073, though they still don't seem to have been put into actual mass production as of 3090.

They gave many more mechs/ weapons even if they werent canon. This makes the casual mw4 like myself happy as i can roll certain doom in 101 different ways.
Lots of mw4 haters on the forums nowadays, but thats because many of them are the hardcore TT'ers that span many generations back before the PC made the franchise more casual.
We'll have to see where this game will sit in terms of casual vs hardcore, but its gonna be a long wait for those RACS. sadly
