For about the 15seconds it takes to have EVERYONE equip an AMS and a Ton of Ammo.

2 tons to negate TONS AND TONS of missles.

I just don't get it either, and it comes after the release and sale of 2 dedicated ecm mechs.
In the thread he says:-

"It is crazy that a 'Mech that far away from an ECM equipped 'Mech is covered by it's protective bubble. At 90m it makes much more sense. (I actually tested at 60m and that makes even more sense but that is too high of a nerf to range to start.)"

How is that exactly? (bold part) Why does it make more sense for an electronic device to work at 90m and not 180m? Shouldn't it make more sense for it to cover the entire map? This is electronics we are talking about.

Getting people to gather together even more is a terrible idea. Deathballing is one of this games major problems. The system needs to be completely rethought.

If everyone has AMS and a ton of ammo its actually 18 tons for your team, that all goes to waste when you drop against a quality team that won't have lurms because they can use direct fire weapons effectively.

Wow if you are this upset over a simple range reduction on ECM Then you maybe become hopelessly lost by what is to follow. This is merely the first step in what is likely an attempt by PGI to get back in line with their vision of a roll warfare driven tactical shooter supporting competitive E gaming.

I will take the wait and see approach. PGI has stated that there is big changes coming to improve game play. What this means we will not know until we see the first Test Build.
