I like the idea of a 3d store with the sales person and views of the mech. PGI could do so much more with the game but it is not.
I mean this in all seriousness, using the Bethesda construction kit(Crytek editor is capable also im sure) this could be in game very easily:
Player logs into game, into pilot quarters, a virtual office/apartment for the pilots gear and a personal computer for all things related to mechwarrior info like mech stats or story or finances or what ever.
Walks out the door, down a hall to an elevetor taking the player to a shuttle landings area or the mech bay/dropship landing, or where ever else.
Players gets to shuttle landing bay and can choose destination after entering shuttle. *Plays shuttle take off cinematic* Zones into Mech Dealership. Greeted by a npc and then player goes to computer and chooses the mech he is interested in purchasing. Takes elevator to sales floor.(all these is simple zoning easily done)
Sales floor has full size mech, with demo cockpit on sales floor and computer for stats and videos. Sales person quickly showing the player the lay out.
Not hard for the bethesda construction kit and I am guessing the Crytek engine construction kit has some of the same options minus all the premade models etc. Good voice acting is the real trouble with making 1st rate mods for Bethesda games and some guys even get that done pro.
Anyone that knows mods knows this kind of stuff is easily possible. When I say easily, I mean within a week, again minus all the models and textures, scripts, animations, sound effects, music and voice acting.
Quality and detail and graphics? Even using Fallout 3 construction kit, enough quality and graphics to shut down any computer. Limited only by the editors computer.(its mostly the size of textures and number of textures that does this)
Cinematics for zoning like shuttle or dropship take offs would take alot more time and I know next to nothing about this although adding them is easy.
For my mod I played the sounds and had load screen for shuttles although I did use some ME 2 cinematics. I used the Firefly ship "Serenity" model someone made for some of this and one i made myself to get between planets. This ships were static, just used for zoning. Fallout 3 game was one planet, lush with tropical forest trees everywhere and New Vegas was another planet completely different also. Joined both the games into one. Took 10 minutes to load the game.

Off the charts amazing mod. Accidently deleted. Total cyberpunk where samurai swords were the prefered melee weapon.
Some of the mods are great.
