IS side I'd have to say it's a tossup between the Centurion and Shadowhawk. But I haven't tried all the mediums. I still have yet to try the Hunchback, Cicada, I did try the Blackjack when I first started and didn't care for it, but I was new so I'd kind of like to give it another chance, the Enforcer, the Kintaro, the Trebuchet, or anything beyond the trial Griffin (C), which is hardly a fair mech to base an opinion of the chassis on.

Clan side, probably the Nova. I just can't get a feel for the Stormcrow. For a top tier medium, I just suck with it. The Prime is the only one I've got a positive KDR with. Not sure why. Of course I only have one variant of the Nova with a positive KDR, but that's mostly because it took messing with it that long to figure out some builds and play styles that worked.

I love mediums with jump jets, but something just feels right when I am piloting the Cent. Particularly the CN9-A or D. Just the right level of responsiveness, tough as nails, and solid weapon options. The Cent just looks amazing too.

Granted, I am looking forward to the Shadow Cat as it resolves my only complaint about the Cent, lack of jump jets.

I can't really decide between IS and Clan, since they're different. I like the power of my SCR but I have more fun in my BJ-1X.

Being funny: just check that goofy PGI survey from a few weeks back as to what mech should be re-scaled. Of course everyone voted for their FAV mech. :-P

My FAV as of July 20th....

Centurions. I discovered them late. I did not play Cents thru OB till about 4 months ago. Love them now. Cannot explain.

How can anyone like the Stormcrow's looks?!? LOL I get they are good, but ugliest mech out there!

Hunchback 4G is my comfiest ride and it has been that way since I first purchased it 2 years ago. It also looks like a total badass but it's hard to deny how awesome the Yen Lo Wang (actually, all the Centurions) or the Griffins look.

IMO the only one to truly play right now is the Stormcrow. It's combat effectiveness is off the charts compared to the other mediums.

Yeah its definitely one of those 'mechs that if they turn their side towards you you have no hope of hitting their torsos. More than once I have been up close to one with nothing but longer duration lasers and hated their AC/20 and twist away routine.

My favorite Medium has always been the Nova. I only play the Stormcrow in this game at all because it is so fun to pilot....2 high torso energy, speed, agility, everything a medium needs. I always hated it in the other games because it didn't really have those things and was ugly as hell. Ironically with no Nova my favorite Medium in MW4 was an IS 'mech.....the Uziel. With C-ERPPCs, of course.
