Have had invisbale mechs before, but suddenly is VERY bad, and its also effects parts of the map. Starting to think it might be to do with current patch

post your system specs and game specs it's running at... maybe there's an issue you are overlooking.

good point

Nvidia 660ti
Windows 7
16gb ram

Tried a few more things today. Seems the problem is with DX11. Changing other settings dont help.

Hmm... which CPU are you running? I have a Gigabyte GTX 660 Ti and never experienced that issue before while running DX11 on Win7x64bit. Are you running your Win7 in 32 or 64bit? If it's 64bit, try using the 64bit option on the MWO Launcher settings button. Might help... but check your GeForce Experience software for recommended settings on MWO and adjust accordingly in the game settings menu.

I am running 2 x 980GTX in SLI, normally set to nvidia surround 3x 1080P resolution screens, and I had no issues before the patch, but after, its invisible mechs and flickering terrain like crazy. The only thing that is changed is the game was patched. Its very annoying.

System; Core i7 4970k, 16GB ram, 2 x 980 GTX, Windows 8.1 etc.

So I guess I am not the only one with this problem. Mechs, terrain and objects flicker in and out not stop making the make unplayable. This has never happened till this patch. I have tried changing every video setting with no effect on the problem.

System; i7 3770k, 16GB Ram, GtX 980, Win7

Got this problem after the last patch too.

System: AMD FX 6300, 8 GB RAM, GTX 750Ti, Win 8.1 (64-bit)
Running the Client in 64-bit mode and DX11 enabled.

I see a pattern here with the NVidia cards.

Have you tried to delete cache or make backup and reset settings yet?

This seems similar to another problem from some time ago where SLI didn't work properly for MWO. Turning that off and only using one card to render MWO fixed it and once Nvidia updated the SLI-profile for MWO it went away.

Have the same Issue... i see a UAV or Mech in the distance, but then it just disappears under the target reticle.
I noticed vertical lines over my screen where distant objects just disappear.
Did some testing in Training Ground and this only occurs when i run my usual Eyefinity (5760x1080) Resolution. When i run it on just 1920x1080 i don't have this issue. Fullscreen or Windowed doesn't have any effect. Neither does the FOV slider nor the video settings. unquoted all adjustments (MRBC) in User.cfg without any change.
This also is to be related to the distance of the target and zoom. Above 220m for normal view. above approximately 700m for zoom level 2 (not the module)

CPU: I7 5820K @4.2
Ram: 32gb
GPU's: Hybrid Crossfire R295x&R290x with Catalyst 15.7
OS: Win 7 64bit

I first suspected the new Catalyst 15.7 but as there are also Nvidia Users affected it has to be Bug with the last MWO Patch.
So what Resolutions are you running? Seeing the GPU's listed here i would expect higher than 1920x1080 for most.

Here a video and some screenshots:
Spoiler

Update: Switching to DirectX 9 solved the Issue for me in 5760x1080. Didn't try that before since DX9 gave me crappy FPS in the past.

One of my team mates also has this issue since last patch. Running the repair tool and cleaning the shader cache's didn't help.

Well I tested your theory and it worked. So it seems that PGI has some how broken us from using three screens to play. Works perfect on one screen but not on three.

Same as issue as above. I notice however to expand upon the above 2 posts....
if you stand still everything is fine can see enemy mech, some 778m, when i place my reticle over the target it will then disappear and wont display properly until about 78m.

I too run 3 screens on an ATI card.
will downstep resolution to 1080p and see how that goes.

I play on a single screen at 1920x1080 and I have disappearing mechs in the distant too. Not only a multi-screen setup problem.

I have this issue 2 times but before current patch. And it is another thing UAV did not discover ECM Raven on map. I cant see any single mech and lasers 360 around. In death screen I see 3 mechs standing near who destroy mine.

Still got a FPS Drop compared to DX11 but at least it is playable again.

Have the same problem with triple screens, the game is unplayable. Switching to 1 screen only helps a lot, but it still happens here and there. DX9 didn't help. This started after the last patch.

SPECS: Nvidia 770GTX, i5 4690K,16GB RAM, Windows 7

Not sure if anyone has tried this, however a large number of graphics "Features" were resolved for me by invoking vsync in the game options and if running SLI then "Force Alternate Rendering 1" in the Nvidia cntrl panel has made the game fun and smooth and consistent(ish).
