Oooo maybe it shows the return of repair and rearm from beta! If your mech is damaged it's showing it's status on what you need to repair. :wub: I'd love to see that come back.

It doesn't say "status" it says "stats" and when you look you can see all it's listing is what weapons are in what hardpoint where.

Nothing special from what I can see.

All it is is an updated, "flashy" version of the drop down menu hell we have now. People want the wall of mechs they had for easy choosing not more bells and whistles to the POS they gave us with the last UI update. Once again PGI doesn't listen to what the players want.

Well I wasnt around beta. But we should get like 2x, 3x (the rewards are just way to low the grinding effort) the c-bills if we also need to repair and rearm our mechs as well. The prices on weapons/ equipment and so on could stay the same I guess, MAYBE lower the darn module prices.

As long as it provides a lot of useful info at a glance... like HS counts (which apparently is Lostech), then it's good.

Otherwise, I have no problem stating that good design is Lostech around here.

So a nerf to non-lasers?

Also, this game has enough cowardly pilots hiding behind rocks, if repair and rearm came back the number of ultra-careful pilots would shoot through the roof.

it will be very sad if they implement it, yeah

also imagine drops in the trial mechs to earn money to repair your actual ones

Yep, god forbid they actually implement some more depth into the game which adds extra thinking to gameplay. Personally I don't think it'd really change the way people play as much anyway. Boost the base rewards for actually getting out and doing things, so that hiding really doesn't help anyway, and don't have the R&R costs too high, and I think you could have the feature without changing gameplay much.

by extra thinking you probably mean that thinking which needs to refit your mech with lasers because the ammo is now costly

Why do people think adding repair costs=depth? If I have to repair my car more then you, is my driving experience deeper and more immersive than yours? No, it's just more costly. In a game where Cbills are an unlimited resource, R&R is just a tax on fun.
