by extra thinking you probably mean that thinking which needs to refit your mech with lasers because the ammo is now costly

That's fair enough, obviously they're all good points and I didn't quite think through what I was saying... R&R in the current game would not be fun, at all. And no, I was here when R&R was in the game, and I understand it wasn't popular then either.
I guess that all links into my opinion of what would make the perfect MechWarrior game. But it'd require economics to be integrated into the core gameplay and that in itself would completely change the way balance and the game works overall. Obviously not something that is going to work in MWO.

To all the trolls on this forum that queued up for a match then disconnected leaving your team to be massacred and ruining the game for them and are back trolling this forum at no cost or loss whats so ever, yes I mean you.

Sure, let's go back to the days where running a competitive build could cost more to repair/rearm than you made per match so all the bad players will forever be stuck with bad builds.

Well if you think about it, if they significantly boosted match rewards so even with R&R and competitive builds you still earned a similar amount to what you do now, it could still be viable, and it'd give greater reward and reasoning for taking builds with less tech in them...

So what is the point of R&R if it doesn't significantly affect earnings?
How can Clan mechs use 'less tech'?
If I have 100+ fully outfitted mechs, how does R&R hurt me compared to a newer player?
This game has NO ECONOMY. None of the prices make any sense- LBX-10 most expensive IS ballistic? R&R doesn't fit with MWO.

LB-X 10 is the most expensive IS ballistic because it is one of the rarest as well as best autocannons out there. Superier to AC 10, rivals AC 5's in it's job and AC 20, makes aircraft and small vehicles and infantry cry. and is the best weapon the IS have to counter the clan threat....
This is of course using normal values and not MW: O "shotgun" only ammo ...
AC 10 in MW: O for IS act like the Slug ammo for LBX's, while IS AC's should be behaving like Clan Ac's/ UAc's...
Imagine that, a IS AC 10 firing 4 to 10 shots to do 10 damage.
But LBX 10 is lighter, smaller, and fires a singular round. AS WELL as having bonus to infantry and aircraft damage...
This is more of the fact that the LBX for both clan and IS are UP instead of the economics.
However it's more of a clanner problem relative to the UAC then the IS ones... compared to the IS ballistis.
LBX is lighter and smaller and colder then the AC of the same rating, and even more so over the UAC of same rating.
C LBX is the same weight but bigger and in some cases no differences in heat to the UAC of the same rating...

I know the BT reasons. But NONE of them are in MWO, and yet we have the same pricing.

I know that, see above, there'd have to be a complete overhaul for anything such as this to actually work properly. I'm just musing because reasons.
