Came back from hiatus just in time to participate in this event. Proceeded to level the mechs I had been leveling:
Stormcrows - Just finished mastering. Easy points.
Panthers - I have them still fairly vanilla and I don't always get the 30 with them.
Warhawks - Usually no problem, but I'm not used to assaults and occasionally do something stupid and don't have the speed to run away.

Once I got frustrated with the Panthers and whipped out my meta Dragon N1, but other than that I've been just grinding those. Already got all the Euro speakers, which was my goal. I'll see if I can get the NA ones too. The premium times are nice for speeding up my grind.

Old reliable Stalker-4N, named "Raiko". Had the occasional 'team leader' attitude as well, but mostly just lasering components out of targets with this siege machine. The Thunderwubs were good, but the lack of range, durability, and raw damage / DPS were deal breakers for me.

Starts off slow, but get it there and it transforms into a freight train - hits hard, and can't be stopped. I even have the Lunch Truck warhorn to punctuate that - it sounds like a train horn!

Positioning was pretty much my only real problem - nail that down, and everything else depends on teammates; I can already hold my own. Very rare that I get less than 100k per match (though that is with premium time), and the bonuses for the event are wonderful. Two days of 'play til lag spikes at night'!

EDIT: Shouldn't open my mouth. Just had a fatal and low-reward game recently, where an expert Jenner pilot just legged me to death. FFfffff.
