Light - Cougar 2xER Large laser + LRM10 :-D
Medium - preferrably Ryoken (4xER Large laser if the water is nearby) or Bushwacker with Small Gauss rifle
Heavy - Thanatos with a pair of AC10s and Catapult, Longbow is good as well
Assault - Mauler but preferably Daishi/Dire wolf... wooooo hooooo... lets roll.

My favourite is the Mad Cat. I played all mechwarrior series and i love this special mech (btw i began to love this mech when i started to play mechwarrior 3. If i will have a beta key or i can play this game ever i will definitely choose mad cat

Hmm can you see what appearance style I like... Maybe it comes from playing with one of these too much when I was a kid and the style just stuck...
