Then I replaced the ac/10 with a ac/5 and filled the laser hardpoints with medium pulse lasers. turned it into a 50 ton wubmech. First few matches I got destroyed, but it turns out to be a good build (besides the large lack of speed as I don't have an XL for it yet!) It surprisingly doesn't overheat as much as I was expecting too! Anyway, I'd like to hear if I've screwed up or not, I suppose it doesn't matter that much when I'm having fun but still, lemme know!

I run this and a Wolverine in my CW deck.
If I want to run AC-10 for its quirks, centurion is the way to go.

Still, with lots of energy and a ballistic slot, it is hard to go wrong with that.

....
To each their own I suppose.
Be nice if the only use most people got out of mechs weren't by making em cookie cutter, meta minmaxed sword and boards, but it is what it is, I suppose.

The XL260 3LL/2ML is darn good too. Honestly, the quirks make a ballistic on it a waste.

Your way of playing isn't wrong, but neither is the competitive approach. Just a matter of perspective. To each their own, as you say.

Thought I said that. Though what's the point of playing an IP if by the time you are done, nothing remotely resembles what is supposed to? Every mech with empty attend. Etc.

Made me cringe... and sad.

Oh, you say it, but you sure dig at anyone who plays with a competitive approach.

Not so. I dig at those who preach Comp as the one true unadulterated gospel. I simply don't understand the appeal for the non Pro masses to try to imitate the sterile game the comps play.
