I can totally relate to you OP-- except I have fish instead of a dog.
I went for the pack. After doing the maths, I figured it would be worth it to me. Once I factor in the little bonuses and the premium time being worth 15-30 bucks... you can kinda see the last mech as costing only $5. Or that's how I sell this stuff to myself anyway.
Either way, I don't have a life outside of family sh-t anymore anyway. I could spend eighty bucks (easily) at the bar in one night. OR get a lot more entertainment and a lot less trouble with big robots, and store bought Jameson.

OP, given your priorities, I'd say if any of the mechs are ones you like, buy them. If none of them really interest you and your decision is a question of getting the best value for your money, I wouldn't bother. The mechs will be available for cbills eventually. If you already have a large stable of mechs, including heroes/primes, then you aren't getting much more than you already have for your money, especially if the mechs themselves aren't all that interesting to you.
I didn't buy this pack because I am not a huge fan of Jenners (they just look funky), and none of the other mechs are really ones I would want to pilot. I already have 100+ mechs sitting in the bay, and at this point, I play maybe 5 different ones and that's it. I'm done buying mech packs until they bring the Warhammer or some other mech that I really enjoy. I've played enough pokemech for now.
