I was looking at the Resistance 2 packages, and I think the mechs looks very nice, maybe I like the Crab most, but then I saw how much I would miss out on just because I missed the deadline for pre-order (I hadn't even started playing the game when the date expired...).
Doesn't really seem worth it now that I know how extremely much better the deal was before.

I like JJ's, and the Crab variant with JJ's is that one that I cannot get...
It all seems so unfair with setting a deadline so far in advance :(

The deadline is for early acess to those mechs, they will be available for purchase later. If you purchase any of the resistancr mechs, they each come with a mech that grants bonuses to experience and c—bills so you can save up more for when those mechs become available.

Depends how willing you are to part with money and how important the particular mechs are to you, I wouldn't have done so if I missed the deadline because I don't find the pack value good enough without those extra mechs (and goodies) BUT if you don't get them as a pack it'll be a bit of a wait till you can cbill or mc purchase them. I ran into the same situation with the wave3 clans, missed the early deals and so now I wait for the cbill release... and it hurts a bit seeing the ebon jags and shadow cats running around while I can't have one.

Also stat wise the res2 mechs look a bit lackluster, all energy except the mauler, only 1 jj mech in the lot, no ecm. Atleast the art is appealing.
