How about on (randomly selected day here), you can select 1 mech to essentially configure and test drive to see if you enjoy piloting it.
Pick 1 mech per week, like a "Test Drive Tuesday".
I've been curious about some of the Hero's but don't want to fork over the MC unless I know I enjoy it. You could make it so you won't earn stats/CBills/XP - I would just like the abillity to test drive prior to purchase.
If not on a weekly basis, how about the 1st of tha month?

How about 1 Mech variant a day featured at 50% off? By my quick calculation, there are probably around 200 Mechs. You never know what "Mech of the day" it is, unless you log in and play.
