Poor Atlas - Ddc

i.e. has ecm but for that advantage only
!1x Weapon module slot! 1x Mech Module slot and 1x unlockable dual module slot.
The problem is, treating a mech with a ecm like this, is out of date and not the case
for the countless other ecm mechs.
The ATLAS-DDC is kinda crippled for no justifiable reason and imo this disadvantage
shoud be removed.ECM is not a huge advantage anymore and kinda common.
Looking at the other IS mechs with ecm and how they are treated
tells me that i am right.
When you decide to go another way why still pointing in the old direction????

NO. It was a good Mech but it was Never King.

I laughed... I should not have.. But i laughed.
Funny thing PGI removed the extra module slot from th D-DC in the past because.. here it comes.. had ECM. (Not his firepower as far i can recall).
ECM was much more a rarity back then.

I never said they were bad, nore am I bad with them. But I guess your talking in general terms, its just that in the way things are they really do not have a whole lot going for them compared to other options, the Zeus is just as tanky if not more so than an Atlas, and if they were to get some kind of buff, in most likely the form of quirks, it would be armor and structure.

The problem with all Atlases are that they are freaking huge, easy to take out, and don't have the kind of hardpoints you need for that to matter. I guess what I'm saying is that if it has hardpoints more like a King Crab or Dire Wolf, it would make up for its phsyical size.
To help make it better, IMO, all (non-hero) Atlases need extra energy hardpoints, preferably on the arms. Maybe even an Atlas that can mount a ballistic on each torso would also do the trick. Also, some decent armor quirks on all limbs would help its tankiness.

I think he said something like "For balance corrule ignore".
I feel the DDC has been left behind. It's another one of those mechs that was considered very good when the quirks were handed out, so it didn't get any love. It's not "meta" anymore, no Atlas is. ECM mechs already have less weapon hardpoints and sometimes less module slots. They come "pre nerfed" and then to have given them lesser quirks also was a double whammy.
However, I think balance threads are pointless right now. There is a major rebalance in the works and it's coming soon. I think we should see what that actually does before we make a bunch of balance suggestion threads. (PGI rarely pays attention to these anyways).

Or maybe we need to get rid of Buffs and let the Mechs work as intended or fail at the hands of the player.
