- Timberwolves - Never got around to them. 2 of them have full basic. Working on the S with a Gauss/2xLPL/1xMPL highmount shoulder config. Not really my favorite but I'm running out of other mechs to level.
- Stormcrows - Same as timberwolves.
- Orions - Got my M to elite, might get the V up a little too.
- Panthers - Well not really, but I'd like to level them up someday. I've been slacking off really bad on my light mechs. The only one I have on elite is my Adder prime, but it doesn't really feel like a light mech so I enjoy it more than the others.

What Mechs Are You Leveling Right Now?

Getting killed by my beloved PAINBOW is the equivalent of being beaten to death with a barn door wielded by a drunk giant, and I love that.
I never had the guts to level the awesomes or even buy any of them, and I started back in closed beta. Things were just too big. Kudos to you for having guts and style points.

I want to wrap up my Grasshoppers so I can strip them, paint them red, and be done with them. I thought they would be so cool, but they've fallen over like a limp wet noodle. There's only one variant that I is somewhat fun to play.

Panthers are a mixed bag. I've got 3 mastered, and they have nice hitboxes and are just fast enough to be shifty. I enjoyed the 2LPL version the most. Never really dug the ERPPC/SRM combo, so I worked around it.

At the moment? Panthers. Other than that? I think all of my mechs are at least Elited out and the vast majority are Mastered. I'm working my way up through the weight classes, trying to find individual mechs I might have missed. I think I have something like 70 mechs, but there aren't a lot left to grind.

Hear, hear. I only put cobra on my absolute faves, but...dang. Sorry I didn't do that on the second 6K.

You have doubts? I have a spreadsheet.

Also at mastering my Vindicators. The medium % being rather high I take my time. Not sure why people consider them so bad. Doing ok with them most of the time.
Finally bought 2 other King Crab. Still in basic with them. Men these things are slow. One has 2 LB-10X, 4 ML and 4 SRM4 and the other 4 AC5, 3 ML and a LRM10 to feel useful while trying to get to the front. The firepower of these mech is something.

Man, Grasshoppers REALLY didn't work for me either. I mastered them, yeah, but it was OCD that did it, not my love for SLOW, IS Laser Vomiters. Won't play them much unless I have a weird reason.

Hm? I don't have a problem Panthers, I just got distracted with Urbies, then with CW, then started going back and getting the stragglers. Somehow missed Panthers in there, but I like them.

Oddly enough, that grind is the reason I play MWO as much as I do. While residing in PUGville, there are no goals (only random match after random match). Leveling a mech sort of gives me a short term (and sometimes long term...looking at you Panther 10P) goal to achieve.
If I like the mech, the grind is fun. If I dislike it, I play it only long enough to win a match and get the 2x bonus, and then I move on to playing mechs I like.
Overall, when I'm not grinding a mech, I still play but i'm not nearly as motivated.
I just keep dropping in my Atlas-S and accruing Soon to be GXP.

1. All of Wave 3 - I've elited most of the Exes and Arctic Cheetahs, but still have a lot of work to do on Jaguars and SCats. I will probably skip SCats for now because I dislike it as a platform.
2. Grasshoppers, Zeus and Enforcers - I effectively finished the Panthers and will sweep them under the table, but I need to Master the other 3 Resistance mechs.
3. Griffins - I'm sort of regretting my purchase of Griffins because they are so SRM based, and I hate SRMs. I've got them mostly elited but figure it will be forever before I actually master them.
4. Hunchbacks - I was too tempted by the Hunchie sale and finally decided to pick up a 4G, 4J and Grid Iron. I haven't ran them yet, but they look like fun.
5. King Crabs - I still need to buy a 3rd so I can eilte the other two I've played.
6. Urbies - I haven't done much with them. Lots of work to do.
So many mechs, so little time. God, we need a double XP weekend.

Long overdue.
Me:
Shadow Cats - Want to get them past Elite before my active premium time runs out. Already done with the Cheeters.
Quickdraw 5K - Picked it up again to test possible MRBC build. Only had Basic done. Did well last night in test run.
Atlas S(L) - Never finished Master. Want to get that done before active premium time runs out.
But, for the most part I just take them out until I get the double XP for the day. Getting too frustrated with the solo PUG queue.

It was the "I think..." that got me. I keep a spreadsheet with names, builds, mastery status, engine type, etc. I'm sick, though, admittedly, but I do immediately know that 194/232 mechs are mastered, with 1 elited and 23 basiced.

I found both Zeuses and Enforcers to be a lot of fun to level. They are both tanky and can put out good DPS.
